Aqua E-Liquid is a brand from the company Marina Vape.
Marina Vape have been creating E-liquid since 2015 from their base in California.
The Aqua range is based on delectable fruity E-liquids and is marketed as being Clean, Crisp and Refreshing.
Aqua E-liquid have added Menthol to their original E-liquids to create the “Ice” range.
Aqua say:
“Having added Menthol to their original lineup of outstanding flavors, Aqua has diversified their simple, yet elegant line to include a chilly blast of ice to their fruity concoctions.”
The liquids I received are in 120ml bottles but filled nearly to the top so not short fill style bottles. They have 0% nicotine so without that there might not be much throat hit. Plus adding lots of nic shots may dilute the flavour so I’m having them full strength because I’m hard like that…
As usual E-liquid reviewing is all based on the individual and my job is to try and report back how closely they match the description and then how enjoyable they are!
I was sent 4 different flavours to try:
- Mist
- Flow Ice
- Pure Ice
- Oasis Ice
The Aqua Ice range are 70%VG and 30%PG.

Flow Ice

I say….
Opening the bottle and stuffing the spout up my nose I instantly get a pear drops sweetie scent – yummy!
Wow really not what I expected!
The smell is highly perfumed so you think this will be a bundle of E numbers and synthetic tastes.
However this is way more refined than that!
In fact it smells nothing like it tastes which has made my brain a bit wobbly.
There is a lot less menthol in this one – you just get the slightest hint of cold on your tongue after exhaling.
There is a tiny hint of pineapple and mango but no flavour is prominent and this is just super smooth. Not too sweet and not that sour it sucks your eyeballs out of your ears.
Really lovely – I just wish I could do more justice to describing how lovely these flavours are. In fact I am struggling as I usually find I can compare the taste to something I have eaten or drank in the past and I genuinely cant!
So sadly after my rubbish description I bet you are none the wiser still!
Pure Ice

I say….
This just smells divine. Very fruity and clear.
It is hard to describe the flavour, there is a definite menthol hit, which has made my tongue ice cold but not that numb I can’t taste and smell all the beautiful fruit going on here!
I can’t pick out a single flavour apart from the menthol as being prominent and the flavour doesn’t remind me of anything I have tasted before.
It is a beautiful smooth liquid though and really fruity.
I’m happily dripping away with this beautiful liquid – I almost feel mellow!
It’s like 0° here right now and I have turned the heating up and wishing I had a towel to lie on and a palm tree wafting over me!
Mist

I say….
This has a real pear smell to it!
The taste matches the smell very peary (is that a word? It is now!).
There is also a very smooth vibe to this liquid too, but the pear is the predominant taste by far.
I love this too – could Aqua get that rare 10/10 for all this range?
This is the Barry White of E-liquid – cool and smooth but sadly not as useful for bedroom gymnastics.

I say….
At first whiff this smells like a shower gel! One of those girly fruity ones that’s supposed to make your whole body turn into a supermodel or something.
This to me has the iciest blast of the whole range.
If I was to be negative this is my least favourite of the range, there is more menthol than fruit and it is really hard to pick out specific fruit flavours.
However I have vaped a lot worse than this believe me, I have had to throw tanks away because there have been liquids whose smell and taste are harder to shift than persistent haemorrhoids.
So this is still a decent 7 or 8 out of 10 for me. I just loved all the other flavours so much this wasn’t quite up there with them.
Final Verdict
As expected with high VG the vapour from the Aquae-Â liquids is perfect, smooth and lots of it.
I have to say these liquids have made my brain ache trying to describe and find comparisons to get across the flavours. When in reality I haven’t tasted anything like these.
They sit in that weird space between sweet and sour. Think of fruit sweets and then sour fresh fruit and this is in that limbo in-between.
This precise reason is why these liquids work so well, they are perfect all day vapes, subtle enough to not make you sick of them but plenty of flavour too.
If I felt a need to be picky I would possibly say I think I would prefer these flavours without the menthol tinge – but again the menthol is not overdone either.
These are great e-liquids and are the closest to perfection I have had in for review.
