The Arctic Dolphin Soul is a new stabilised wood mechanical Squonker from Arctic Dolphin.

ad soul modArctic Dolphin really impressed us with the budget priced Crea squonk mod which proved to be excellent quality.

With the Soul they are targeting a much more high end market – the price and packaging reflect this!

Soul squonk in boxThe Soul is a mechanical mod powered by a single 18650 battery which is not included.

arctic dolphin soul mod promo shotAs with all mech mods you can only adjust the output using the coil resistance and the battery you choose. So make sure to be fully aware of battery safety and Ohms Law to use this safely and get the best performance.

arctic dolphin soul various viewsThe mod is made from Stabilised wood – which is wood mixed with a resin material to preserve and enhance the wood itself. The resin also adds colour.

There is a 7ml food grade squonk bottle included.

Sadly like most stab wood devices you are not able to specify the colour you want – it will be random – which is a shame.

  1. Michelle you need to stop looking at heavens gifts for prices because they are extortionate and i worry you may be putting off people from buying this beautiful little gem (i own one as well as the Amber mech squonk they make)
This is $123 at HG and the Amber is $114. Even with an easily obtained 15% discount (and even with the 30% discount they offer every few months) they are a LOT more expensive than Fasttech (Amber $80/Soul $90) or Hotecig (where i got my Amber for $70 and my soul discounted for $74-normally $95) and they both deliver all orders fast and free with tracking included, unlike HG where shipping is also as pricey as the products.
Now, I apologise if it appears i am having a pop at HG just for the sake of it, that is not the case, my intention is to inform your readers of the best price/deal options available to them that I know of.

I will say this though, wherever people ultimately decide to purchase from, anyone who buys this will not be dissapointed, i guarantee it as they are both absolutely fantastic, cracking little hard hitting, well made and finished mods. Top class and even at the higher price scale for them, they look and feel like mods costing twice as much!
    ‘Nuff said 😉

    • Thanks for the heads up Ryan! Some great prices there and the Soul sounds superb!

When we post a preview the products are, on a lot of occasions, limited in where you can get them at the time ie: one or two stores, sometimes none.

We don’t just check HG, we check a number of others when publishing to check best pricing so I can only think this particular product may not have been available at the time. Having another search for the Soul it looks pretty widely available now which is great! It wasn’t at the time 🙂

HG, while I agree aren’t always the cheapest when it comes to price, have always been great in terms of customer service and fast DHL delivery times. I’ve bought a lot from them over the years. I do however tend to buy 3 or 4 things at a time which, for me, makes the DHL shipping costs reasonable.

Not that familiar with Hotecig though so will check them out for sure and add them to the list of sites to check 🙂
