Today we are looking at the Aspire Breeze Kit. A relatively new bit of gear from Aspire which features everything you need in a single compact and stealthy pod device.

But how did I get on with it?

The Breeze is available in 4 different finishes. All of which have the same black button and mouthpiece, but the difference is in the anodised aluminium body.

Build Quality & Design

We’ll start from the top and make our way down the device…

The Mouthpiece:

The device comes out of the box with a smoked ‘hygiene cap’ on top to prevent any dust or debris getting in whilst it’s in your pocket/bag. I found this unnecessary so left it in the box.

The mouthpiece is oval shaped and has two holes inside it. The larger of the two is where the vapour comes through. I predict the smaller of the two is to create a certain amount of pressure or to release pressure within the device, as well as activating the fire switch. It actually fits really nicely in the mouth and is quite comfortable when vaping.

The Device:

At the front of the Aspire Breeze, you have a large fire/lock button. It’s extremely nice and clicky and has the usual 5 clicks on, 5 clicks off. But you can also vape this by just inhaling.

I found that this method was less instant than pressing the button, so throughout using the Breeze, I used the fire button. Below that along the bottom, you have the Aspire branding.

On the right hand side of the device, you have a little cross which is where the airflow comes in, so please make sure not to block that when vaping.

Below that is the cut out for the tank. It tales 2ml of e-liquid and is quite easy to view, especially when pressing the fire button, because the tank lights up to make it easier to view.

More or less halfway down the tank, there is a red line. This is where you fill the e-liquid up to to allow displacement when you install the coil.

At the base, you have the usual micro USB charge port as well as the CE and bin logo.

Filling and Installing the Coils:

So, to install the coil, undo the tank by using the metal ‘key’ on the bottom of the mouthpiece.

This lets you extract the chimney section and you can then screw on the new coil.

As said above, the tank allows 2ml of e-liquid to be put in.

Fill up to the red line, install the coil and chimney assembly and then tighten back up using the key on the bottom of the mouthpiece

How Does the Aspire Breeze Perform?

Flavour & Clouds

Overall, the flavour and clouds on the Aspire Breeze is acceptable. It’s nothing to write home about, but it is definitely acceptable for a starter kit like this.

Battery Life:

The battery life has been poor in all honesty. After a day or two of playing with this I had to go and get the Aspire Breeze Charging Dock which adds an extra 2000mAh onto the existing 650mAh battery. I would say that the Charging Dock is a must for regular users of the Breeze. I found that I was charging it far too much without the dock, roughly 3 or 4 times a day.

What I Like

It feels good in the mouth and good in the hand. The flavour is acceptable, but nothing to write home about, but it would definitely suit a beginner vaper who isn’t familiar to the better flavour you get from more advanced atomisers.

What I Dislike

The battery life is the biggest let down of the Breeze. If you’re a frequent vaper then this won’t be lasting you long at all. So having to spend an extra £14 on top of the original £24 is a bit much. Possibly Aspire releasing a package deal would have been a good choice?

Final Review Verdict

The Aspire Breeze Kit is a great little bit of kit for beginners or someone that is needing a little stealth kit. But if you’re looking for something with a large battery life straight out of the box, then something like the Gusto Mini Kit may suit you better.

Which brings me to the question, Would I buy the Aspire Breeze Kit If I lost or broke it???

Unfortunately not…

Pros:

  • Good looks
  • Smooth airflow
  • Acceptable flavour

Cons:

  • Poor battery life

The Devil Vaper

Hi, my name is Dean and I have been vaping since April 2014. I decided to start reviewing back in mid 2015 as my friends kept asking me about different e-liquids I had tried and whether they were worth buying. So I thought I'd start on Instagram writing written reviews for them to read. Then several months later, I saw that people were publishing reviews on YouTube, so in late 2015 'TheDevilVaper' was born! And since then, I have built a following across social media and I'm reviewing anything from starter kits to mech mods. Budget e-liquids to premium flavours and prebuilt coils to carry cases. To me, vaping is more than just a way to quit smoking. It is now a hobby. And a hobby that I have great pleasure in doing! And if my reviews help people ditch the cigarettes, then it's a job well done. TheDevilVaper

aspire-breeze-kit-reviewA nice little kit from Aspire, but unfortunately the battery life lets it down. To get any life the battery pack needs to be purchased separately.

  1. I think this is a decent kit. Firm and holds nicely in your hand.
Smoke produce is decent as well. Price is not much. I would say its slightly below
    a mid range.
