Good morning my flavorful vapers!!! You may not have heard of Digiflavor yet but I’m guessing, by the quality of the wares I’ve been sampling from this very young vaping brand out of good old Shenzhen, China that it’s only a matter of time before they too become a vaping household name.

The brand constructed the Anarchist riot RDA which I’m so fond of and they’re also responsible for the extremely popular Pilgrim GTA and, more recently, the magnificent Aura RDA.

Digiflavor prides itself on exceptional flavor delivery, over cloud, however I can’t say that they go too far wrong on the cloud front. From my experience they achieve this with exceptional machining and very well designed airflow systems.

The mini vape mod I’ve been sampling this week is no different, labelled the Digiflavor Ubox Starter Kit, it should probably have been called the Cute Box…I almost cried when I saw it, you’d swear someone had brought me a puppy to play with.

When I heard I’d be reviewing a sub-miniature mod with a maximum output of 28W I paused for a moment, wondering how I would even detect that it was there, let alone review the damn thing…especially considering the fact that I’m rather used to vaping at a 150W and more.

However, I’ve got to say that somehow, somehow, this little beastie has vaporized its way into my heart and soul, delivering a 0.5 ohm kick of vapor and taste that literally shocked me into submission. I love it!!!

Mini box mods are all about convenience, stealth, ease of use and portability and this is by far the smallest box mod I’ve ever laid eyes on, light as a feather, I lost it in my bed this morning and had to take all the covers off before it quietly tumbled out from between the folds.

Beginners and experienced vapers alike are going to love the utter convenience, sheer scrumptious cuteness and, most importantly, the excellent vape quality and battery life on this mini mod.

Build Quality & Design

I opened the tiny and very high quality Digiflavor box to reveal a totally next-level-small box mod and kit combo, I lifted it out and was taken aback by the way it lies on your palm, weightless, not even extending over your fingers.

The Ubox Mod

While extremely, extremely light weight, the Ubox is beautifully constructed. The black zinc alloy body, rectangular with well rounded edges, epitomizes ergonomics. The criss cross texturing on the sides of the body add an element of grip and also finish the mini mod off with elegance.

A light branding down the one narrow side says Ubox and a tiny Digiflavor logo dresses the upper surface.

The spring loaded 510 connection allows the device to, to my amazement, pair perfectly with your smaller RDAs, I loaded the Inderemix from Jaybo and it looked so micro-badass that I cried for the second time (almost). The base of the device features six venting holes for the onboard 1700 mAh battery.

Down the other narrow side you’ll find an elongated oval-ish firing and power button, very clicky indeed and super solid, incapable of rattle.

Beneath that there are three very, very bright blue LEDs which indicate various things but I’ll get to that later…below that there’s a micro USB port for super quick charging.

The UTank Atomizer

Oh sweet lord, while looking at this tank I pull faces as if I’m tickling a new born baby. The miniature (and I mean miniature) sub-ohm tank, with 2 ml capacity, is expertly machined and the stainless steel and glass construction feels incredibly solid for such a little thingie.

The base the tank features the same criss cross texturing for extra grip when you want to adjust the itty bittiest dual adjustable airflow you’ll ever behold.

The tank breaks down smoothly with a simple unscrewing of the glass from either the top or bottom cap.

The 20-30W coil head screws in or out easily and there’s a spare in in the box.

The top cap has a tiny Digiflavor logo etched on the side and the ‘510’ drip tip is miniature, simply because anything bigger would be ridiculous.

The answer is no, your other drip tips are not going to fit here.

Super prim and proper lip pursing is called for here so you’ll have to perfect your stealthing hand maneuvers if you intend to act masculine with this device.

The Included Coil Heads

Well, well. I dare say this came as a big surprise. These coils are excellent, outstanding flavor and a real killer 0.5 Watts if you ask me, far better than expected.

How Does The Digiflavor Ubox Kit Perform?

This device is all about ease of use and convenience. Simple five click power on and off and a one click fire that works like a charm.

Ramp time is brilliant and the mini device’s remarkable voltage means that what you’re getting for your 28W here is a vape that actually feels closer to 45W and I mean that, I’m really impressed by this device.

The blue LED lights, which light up the room when the device in in use and drop down to one as you power down, actually serve various functions: when the bottom one flashes, you need a recharge; when the middle one flashes, you’ve overtired and the device will auto-shutdown; when the top one flashes, it means the device will shut down from overheating…of course, I only experienced the battery flash-eventually.

Also, the voltage diminishes as your battery dies but rather marginally, meaning the vape is still very sweet throughout, the bottom voltage being 3.6 Watts.

Stock Coil Performance

The Digiflavor Ubox has no funky settings or variables and operates like a charm all the way through. I was delighted when I took my first hit and blew out a plume of flavorful vapor that was anything but stealthy. I couldn’t believe it.

Battery Life and Charging

Not only does the battery charge very fast, in just over an hour, the battery life is quite outstanding, in my experience.

I’ve been able to run it for a day and a half before it demanded a charge and that’s all thanks to the sleep function, which automatically and temporarily shuts down the device when it’s not in use, conserving power.

I’ve read one or two reports of ‘not great battery life’ for this device but I have to insist that this just isn’t my experience, I’ve been pleasantly surprised and I know that unlike other minis that I’ve tried out, this one actually WILL live through a whole night on the town.

Of course, as with all onboard batteries…the battery will degrade over time and the entire mod will eventually have to be replaced.

How To Fill The Utank

Super easy, unscrew the top cap and fill alongside the coil head.

How To Change the Coil on The Utank

Also easy, unscrew the glass from the base, unscrew the coil head, change and replace.

What I Liked

The extreme light weight, portability, convenience and utter cuteness of the device, not to mention the impressive vapor production, flavor and battery life.

What I Dislike

There’s nothing I don’t like. Some may have an issue with the onboard battery or extreme light weight but that is really part of what makes this nano-vape such a convenience. It’s perfect for beginners.

Final Review Verdict

I adore this mini box mod and mini sub ohm tank from Digiflavor, come Christmas time I’ll be ordering these for everyone in my family that’s been meaning to start vaping.

It’s delightfully convenient and works like a bomb. I shall not part ways with it anytime soon and I seriously recommend it for any smoker, beginner, budget or stealth vaper looking for a nano-mod that kicks ass.

And..

Would I buy the Digiflavor Ubox if I lost/broke the device? Well I most certainly would, if they made more colors, I would buy them ALL.
Pros

  • The smallest, lightest box mod you’ve ever seen
  • Rich full 0.5 Ohm, high voltage vape
  • One touch control
  • LED light warning signals
  • Extended battery life
  • Awesome nano adjustable airflow

Cons

This device ticks all the boxes for a mini mod, I’d say that if you find fault with its features, then maybe you shouldn’t be looking for a mini mod. This is great value for money.
