Cornflake Tart

They say:

A true taste of the old school! Cornflake and syrup tart with a punchy layer of strawberry jam running through. The only thing missing is the crunch.

dinner lady cornflake tart reviewWe say:

Cornflake Tart is an old classic dessert that my Grandmother used to whip up for me when I was a child, and Dinner Lady’s version definitely brought back memories of that after dinner treat.

I get a fairly dry cornflake flavour that has a very syrupy undertone to it, a flaky pastry background representing the tart and a small hint of strawberry jam when exhaling.

It is a really well rounded e liquid and one I personally enjoyed a lot!

Maple Waffle

dinner lady maple waffle e juice review

We say:

Maple Waffle has a very thick waffle overtone to it, that is the most predominant flavour found in this liquid.

It is very doughy too, I almost got a doughnut liquid styled feel to it, and there is a pretty generous amount of rich maple syrup added for good measure.

There is a very nice creamy aftertaste to this liquid, it is also very sweet as well, which wasn’t the most pleasing on my coil builds!

I did find that this gunked up my coils quite quickly, so do bear that in mind.

Lemon Tart

They say:

Sharp lemon curd topped with gooey meringue, all cradled by a thin pastry crust.

dinner lady lemon tart e liquid reviewWe say:

Lemon Tart is arguably the most well known e liquid from the Dinner Lady range, and one of the most talked about across social media.

Lemon Tart is a very sweet take on a lemon drizzle cake, with sharp lemon curd mixed with a very thick meringue and cake background.

The taste is uncanny, and it is one of the most realistic tasting e juices I have tried.

Like Maple Waffle, I did find this to be somewhat of a coil killer unfortunately, which could be down to how sweet this juice is.

The quality is top notch and my bottle of Lemon Tart was vaped in no time at all.

I did find myself re ordering it as soon as I had finished the bottle off!

Strawberry Custard

They say:

Natural strawberry is balanced against sweet, creamy custard and butter-caramel.

A refreshingly different strawberry vape that will leave Mothers Milk gathering dust on your shelf.

dinner lady strawberry custard e liquid reviewWe say:

Strawberry Custard is one of the smoothest liquids I have tried, and one that I absolutely would have as an all day vape!

It has become my favourite Strawberry Custard liquid, thanks to the combination of syrupy and sweet strawberry with a thick custard undertone, and an aftertaste of caramel.

The flavours are blended together perfectly, providing you with a really delicious dessert liquid.

Rice Pudding with Jam

They say:

Cooked to perfection. Velvety, sweet, creamy rice pudding, with a tasty dollop of raspberry jam stirred through to finish. What’s not to love?

dinner lady rice pudding with jam e juice reviewWe say:

Rice Pudding with Jam really gets the flavour and texture of rice pudding spot on, even down to the thickness of the mouth feel.

It’s a really thick and creamy liquid that contrasts very well with the raspberry jam undertone.

Strangely this was the only liquid from the Dinner Lady range that had any sort of throat hit in my experience.

I did get a fairly sharp throat hit on the inhale which does deviate from the flavour profile.

While still a good juice it didn’t impress as much as the others.

Production Details

Dinner Lady is developed through extensive research and testing to meet the needs of the consumer, and their liquids are based around retro British dessert treats.

They are produced in a clean room facility within the United Kingdom, using only the best ingredients available.

Each of their liquids is mixed to a ratio of 70% VG and 30% VG. You can purchase nicotine strengths in 0mg, 3mg and 6mg.

Presentation

The bottles are some of the most bright, well designed and attractive on the market.

Dinner Lady e-liquids come in glass dropper bottles, with a childproof cap, along with bright and classy labelling.

The bottles definitely stand out, and if you walked into a bricks and mortar shop that sold these, your eyes would instantly be drawn to the bottles.

Vapour Volume

For a 70% VG 30% PG mix ratio you would expect to get a lot of clouds. The Dinner Lady range doesn’t disappoint and produces a hell of a lot of vapour!

It’s more in line with what you would expect from an 80% VG juice, a real treat for cloud chasers as there is plenty of vapour here with the Dinner Lady e-liquid line.

Throat Hit

There is no real throat hit present in any of these liquids, they were all very smooth, with the exception being Rice Pudding which I found had quite a sharp throat hit.

Other than that, the Dinner Lady liquids provide really smooth flavour with no throat hit to speak of.

Final Review Verdict

Dinner Lady is a line of great tasting liquids that are well worth the massive hype they have been generating recently.

The flavour profiles here are spot on, and each Dinner Lady liquid offers a fantastic vaping experience.

Dinner Lady has got to be one of the best tasting juice lines in the UK at present, and their products can compete with the best the US has to offer.

They have got the flavour profiles spot on, and dessert fans will be all over these juices.

This was definitely one of the highest quality ranges of juice I have tried an one that I found myself re-ordering.

Been vaping full time for three and a half years, started on cigalikes for a fair while then curiosity got the better of me and I moved onto an ego/ce5 set up after, a month or two later I was seeing people walking around with these interesting shiny tubes and I thought 'I gotta get one of those'. Before I knew it a trip down to my local B&M got me my first VW mod, an Innokin SVD, paired with an iClear 30, and I was hooked. Soon after that I was jumping to VW mods both box and tube shaped, before I then made the jump to rebuilding and thus sub ohming, with my first RDA and mech mod. These days I'm still preferring mechanical mods, but using VW mods with both RDA's and tanks alike whilst on the move, most importantly I am still loving vaping!

  1. Do these vape juices contain any diacetyl or acetyl propionyl in them? The Lemon Tart vape tastes like lemon popcorn butter. Delicious of course, but I am a little concerned.

    • Good question Brian!

While I can’t find specific testing for Dinner Lady ejuice companies that notify their eliquids to MHRA CANNOT have Diacetyl or AP in their ingredients. Can read more about the ingredients that are not allowed here.

So in short, for Dinner Lady to pass their e-liquids of as TPD compliant (which they are) they can’t contain AP or Diacetyl.

  2. I have gone off vape dinner lady as I feal they are really devaluing there produce buy having so many give away competition’s and can’t understand how they are able to continue to give it away
