T max: Dr Stanley Clark’s Original Recipe Snake Oil

I had heard rave reviews about the Snake Oil juice from T Max over of both the UK Vapers and POTV forum and decided I really needed to give this a try.

The T Max website currently only sells/produces the one e-liquid but covers a good range of options from zero to 24mg and an array of sizes from 30ml upwards. It also came pre-steeped which helps save a good bit of time!

Snake oil is described on their website as

“The main flavours are citrus fruits with a slight sugar coating, hard to describe but maybe something from your childhood? All this citrus is balanced with a background note of anise, which is mellow and rounded in flavour.”

Flavour

The aroma from the bottle is really nice, the aniseed and citrus smells quite refreshing. On vaping the aniseed is very subtle as is the citrus flavour which combines to create a smooth vape that leaves a really refreshing aftertaste that lingers nicely in the mouth.

It also leaves the cooling effect in the mouth that you get from menthol e-liquid flavours.

My taste buds might be completely off but I was also getting what I think is a slight hint of what tastes like pineapple coming through?

Not sure if anyone else gets this? Would be great to see if you do in the comments section below!

So it was definitely a good e liquid flavour for me that I have no problem using as an all day vape.

Vapour Volume

The PG/VG split is 60/40 which helps with the fantastic vapour volume I was getting from the Snake Oil.

Overall

It was definitely unlike any other juice I have tried so far and to be honest at first I wasn’t too sure about it but the more I vaped it the more it grew on me and I found myself going back to this regularly.

The flavours all work together well and the result is a subtle yet refreshing vape. The price is good as well costing £13/30ml, £19.99/50ml, £29/80ml and £35/100ml.

  1. I’ve tried to quit smoking before but have no will power. I’m also a very curious person and have to know – do I still like the taste. Even after forced cessation through illness – and I know its a good time to give up, I still have to check, to see what it tastes like.

9 days ago, although I have always wanted to give up, I wasn’t thinking about doing so. A friend started vaping/smoking 10 weeks ago, 2 weeks in she had her last cigarette, except for 1 puff taken at dinner, 2 weeks ago (she hated it). So she ordered me a mod which arrived 9 days ago. She gave me some juice to try and for 2 days I struggled with the wattage – it burnt all the time. 7 days ago, I got a new tank and the problem stopped immediately. That morning, she gave me some Dr Stanleys Snake Oil to try and I’ve not had a cigarette since.

This time I’m not curious to see if I still like cigarettes; I know I dont. I dont want to be seen with a cigarette in my hand, I love the fact my clothes dont smell and my hair smells clean. I can already feel a lightness in my chest and am more alive feeling. I love the taste of the Snake Oil and despite being hard for me get where I am – it is my vape of choice. I really enjoy the semi -sweet aniseed taste and the hint of citrus. It does remind me of something in my childhood, a familiar comfortable smell/taste. For me – its Snake Oil from now on.

  2. I’ve been vaping for a month and haven’t smoked at all in 3 days now. This ejuice is the first one after vanilla custard I love.

  3. How to describe this? Ok, imagine if you can lying on a beach in 40c sun sipping an ice cold lemonade with very strong citrus flavours and a nice cool breeze blowing over you and you have this vape. All flavours are prominent without being overpowering in 1 way or another. The throat hit is smooth (i am using the 12mg strength in a kayfun lite+ @2ohm dc and the hit for me was spot on, anyone that knows the kf knows it hits) and consisitent as is the vapor produced. On a slight downside it does appear to be very sensitive to heat and i would say a VV/VW device is a must to get the right output but overall its a definite winner
