The original IJoy RDTA box was you could say a bit of a revolution given it looked like a squonker but wasn’t!

It was hard to pin down exactly what it was but it certainly inspired Smok to release the SkyHook you might say lol.

Anyway the original RDTA fired up to 200 watts and had a huge e-liquid capacity of over 12mls!!!

So what – apart from the size – is different about the IJOY RDTA mini I hear you ask.

Not a lot if the truth be told.

But what IJOY have come up with is a fantastic vape device that can certainly hold its own with many of the 100 watt devices out there – and then some.

The whole thing has been streamlined giving it a sleeker more compact look but still managing to hold a whopping 6ml of e-liquid.

Folks living in the EU need not worry given the tank size – IJOY say that a 2ml capacity tank version will be made available so as to be TPD compliant.

The mini version retains the re-buildable deck – the concept and the design but this time it comes with a built in 2600mAh liPo battery which should see you get plenty of power between charges.

The device is firmware up-gradable and still compatible with most of the 510 tanks out there should you wish to use your own.

I have to say I do like the look of this one and have it firmly on my vaping radar 😉

I have simpler vape tastes these days - I never leave home without a Caliburn G, a Vaporesso Luxe 40 or Innokin EQ FLTR and a CBD vape pen or bottle of CBD drops in my rucksack...or indeed an Aspire Nautilus Prime X in my pocket... At home I'll be using various mods topped with the GeekVape Zeus X RTA or the Signature Mods Mono SQ topped with the Augvape BTFC RDA... I'm a former journalist and now a writer and sometimes author... I'm ex Army - adore dogs and never happier than hiking over the hills or with a good book on a beach.

  1. What eliquids should I use because I’ve heard about the polycarbonated tank that’s built in the device that may crack so I’m concerned and I’ve been using my friends alien 220 smok and the eliquid that I’ve been using was the Vgod cubano black donu recommend me buying it for the ijoy RDTA box mini

    • Hey Rushdi,

You’d be best asking iJoy directly what the material is as I know vape companies have been using a type of plastic that doesn’t crack with the ‘tank cracking juices’.

But.. In general, citrus and cinnamon e-liquids were a couple that did cause issues. The VGod e-liquid should be OK with the RDTA Box mini. If you search on google for tank cracking juices there are a few lists out there.
