Introduction – ODEON V2 RDA Designed by JWELL
One of JWELL’s other successes that I’m personally familiar with is the Passy. A tiny e-cigarette kit.
Today we are going to take a look around an RDA designed by JWELL, the ODEON V2.
Is it truly unique? Can it match the best RDA’s on the market? Let find out!

Design and Build Quality
When I first opened the box and revealed Odeon V2 my immediate thought was
“A 22mm RDA how cute, are JWELL taking us a step backwards a couple or more years?”
But after a closer examination of the Odeon V2 I can surely tell you dear reader, they are not!
Made from Stainless Steel, the design is ergonomically pleasing; the build quality is excellent, nice clean lines no sharp or rough spots that I could find!
To me this RDA shouts top quality with a little bit of beast thrown in for good measure.
3 different colour options available black and gold plated, Stainless Steel and a full black version.
How Does The J WELL Odeon V2 RDA Perform?
I chucked a couple of homemade Clapton coils in, 0.2 ohms and used Dinner Lady Lemon Tart and Maple Waffle at 60w on my LMC 200W.
The vapour that I experienced was thick and very flavoursome.
The RDA does get incredibly hot chain vaping at 60w, opening the airflow to its max point and whacking the wattage up to 80w I experienced a descent amount of vaper with straight to lung vaping style.
Although in my case the flavour was kind of lacking, this RDA to me more of a flavour RDA than a cloud chucker, with the airflow restricted I experienced a very passable mouth to lung draw with plenty of flavour.
The ODEON V2 RDA breaks down into 4 parts for easy cleaning.
- The Base/Deck
- Airflow ring/sleeve
- Airflow internal adjustment ring/cap
- Delrin driptip
The Base/Deck
The posts, or should I say post block, is of a velocity-ish style design.
I say ‘ish’ because if you were to cut the block and take out the centre section you would have your 2 post velocity posts.
The block is comprised of two parts connected together horizontally with a peek insulator through the centre, like all velocity post type decks these posts are very easy to coil up!
Unlike similar RDA’s of a smaller size this RDA’s juice well can easily take 1 to 1.5ml of dripped liquid and has two heat resistant O rings around the base.
The 510 connection pin is gold plated and makes good connection with all regulated mods I’ve used the Odeon V2 on.
The bottom of the deck also features the – “JWELL ODEON Designed in France” branding.
Warning in my opinion this RDA is not suitable for use on a Hybrid Mech Mod the 510 pin does not protrude enough for it to be safe option on this type of device.
The Airflow Ring/Sleeve
This is where I believe the J Well Odeon V2 RDA is unique.
The airflow, instead of being the standard cylon airflow, is instead shaped like a cross-hair or plus sign!
Around the centre of the Sleeve is a section beveled out which incorporates the airflow and also has more advertising for “JWELL ODEON”.
The Airflow internal adjustment ring/cap
The airflow is easy to spin to open or close the airflow; you can also use this RDA with single or dual coils. We also see one heat treated O ring.
Internally the cap is also of a conical design to aid with liquid spit back.
The Delrin Driptip
Sits on the top of the internal airflow system/top cap. It has two O rings that fit nice and firmly, the Driptip is made of Delrin! With a Delrin mesh for anti spit back.
O Rings
The O rings functioned perfectly in the time I have been using this RDA. No leaks unless it was of my own making.
The O rings were tight to start with but with a few smears of liquid around them it was easy to pull the cap on and off as well as spin the airflow ring.

What I Like
The ease of coiling the velocity styled post block
The ease at which the J WELL Odeon V2 Can be disassembled and re-assembled for easy cleaning.
The Style its small compact and beautiful
What I Didn’t Like
I found it hard to nail down any point I didn’t like about this RDA.
But if pressed I will mention that advertising printed on this little thing in my opinion is slightly over the top.
Final Review Verdict
A pleasure to use, a pleasure to coil and the airflow is plentiful although rather strange looking.
This is an RDA of a unique, small, cute stature. With the Velocity style block post I would highly recommend this to those new to coiling, I would like to see J WELL bring out a larger version of the ODEON maybe 24mm or 25mm.
Not recommended by me for use on a Hybrid Mech Mod.
If I lost or damaged the J WELL ODEON V2 would I buy another? Hell Yes I would!
Pros
- Flavour and Vaper was top notch.
- No leaking in the time I was testing, unless I over dripped.
- Plentiful airflow.
- Easy to take apart and put back together.
- The 510 connection pin is gold plated for better connectivity.
- Excellent build quality.
Cons
- No Cons in my book, unless you count the amount of advertising.
