The 510 Crystal Tank From Jacvapour
Following on from the new 510 Jac Vapour kit review we are now taking a look at compatible tanks/clearomisers. We have already checked out the Pro Tank 3 which was a robust tank with very good performance. Next in line is the Crystal Tank.
This is basically the Aspire CE5-S re-branded. Is this a bad thing? Definitely not, the Aspire CE5 is one of the best clearomisers out there and a go to bit of kit for many vapers.
This tank has been discontinued. Check out the latest Jacvapour S22 tank for their upto date release.
510 Crystal Tank Setup
The Jac Vapour 510 Crystal tank is a re-buildable device that can be dismantled into four pieces. They are mad from Polypropylene and are available in 3 colours, Black, White and Stainless Steel. The latter of which I am using today. In the hand it feels good and to the eye looks great when mounted on an EGO battery or an MVP2.
Again, as I always recommend when using a re-buildable clearmoiser for the first time, take it apart and get yourself familiar with the workings before jumping straight in with the e-liquid.
Filling The Jacvapour 510 Crystal
This is very easy to fill, simply unscrew the base, turn the tank upside down but tilt at an angle then squeeze the e-liquid down the inside wall. Be sure not to go over the centre post or get any e-liquid in here. If you do then not to worry, this can be sorted out by screwing the base back on, get a piece of tissue and blow through the mouth piece. Any excess e-liquid will deposit on the tissue.
Before screwing the base in just check that the coil head is screwed in firmly, this will prevent any leaking. Once done just allow the e-liquid to soak into the coil for a few minutes before vaping.
Crystal Tank Performance
I was using the Choc-a-nana flavour from LiQuid for this review. The first thing I notice with this tank is that it gives off masses of vapour! Up there with the best I have tried. The flavour is also great, the 1.5oHm coil provides a slightly warmer vape that suited this particular flavour really well.
When it comes to replacing the coils you have a choice between 1.5ohm and 1.8ohm. it always works out better value buying in packs of 5 works.
Be sure to give both a try to see which you prefer as each give a slightly different result. Jacvapour do offer a good discount though to save a further 5% off all of their products.
