The Advken Notch RDA is a new RDA featuring an easier option for coil installation.

Let me explain.

Recently there have been a few devices which are RDA’s in a sense – that you install a coil and wick it yourself.advken notch promo shot

The difference being with Notch coil RDA’s that the coil is a cylinder which you pop into the deck. Similar designs are seen on the Ehpro Lock RDA and the Joyetech NotchCore tank.

I have hand dexterity issues and struggle with my grip – so I use rebuildable atomisers quite rarely – only for review and e-liquid testing. I find it so fiddly and drop everything 30 million times.

So for people like me who like the better flavour, cheaper running costs and ability to just rewick and change flavour easily this style of RDA makes life a bit easier.advken notch components

The Notch RDA comes with 2 notch coils installed and you simply rewick these when the cotton becomes a bit manky.

The kit also includes a BF 510 pin so you can convert this to use on a Squonk mod.advken notch black

There is adjustable airflow which comes in the side of the barrel and then through the deck under the coils.advken notch airflow

There are 2 colours to choose from – Stainless Steel and Black.advken notch colours

Kit Includes

  • Advken Notch RDA
  • 2x Notch coils – installed
  • Doctor coil
  • Accessory bag
  • Cleaning cloth

Advken Notch RDA Specs

This looks to be a great RDA – I am not sure if you can use this with standard style coils? The specs on the Advken website say “Dual Posts Design, which is compatible with Notch coil or other rebuilding coils” – however I am unsure how you would clamp standard coils in the deck?
