The Twirl RDA By Advken Previewed

The Advken Twirl RDA is a new release from a brand best known for atomisers. Previous products include the well-known Manta RTA and Manta Sub Ohm tank.advken twirl range

I am finding this RDA a bit confusing to be honest and the Advken Website only gives specifications without describing the design and what it hopes to achieve.

The main confusion for me is the mention of the “Inner chamber with slot design for easy installing”. Nope no idea.twirl rda chamber

Looking at images of this when the outer barrel is removed there appears to be an inner assembly which looks like it resembles a cog gear? I don’t quite understand what this is for? I can only assume it is for channelling the airflow?twirl rda components

The deck has dual posts for dual coil builds and apparently the clamp holes are large enough to accommodate some chunky coil styles. The deck is also black plated – hope this is still conductive – as there were some issues with plated decks recently… cough… Wotofo Warrior RDAtwirl rda deck views

The airflow is adjustable from the top which should help reduce the chance of leakage through the airflow inlets.twirl rda ss

You also get a 510 bottom feed squonk pin to convert the Twirl to use on a squonk mod.

There are 2 colours to choose from – Stainless Steel and Black. There are mentions in the specifications of there being PEI and PC colour options – but I have not seen any images of these yet.twirl rda colours
