The Aspire Vilter vape kit review and the word you’ll read a lot is ‘simple‘ because that’s exactly what it is.

Apart from the simplicity in design and use, the key selling point I guess is the addition of paper style drip tips.

We have seen this before – and it is something that may tempt smokers to give vaping a go.

The 2ml capacity pods are sealed, meaning you can’t change the coil – but they are refillable.

What Can We Expect From the Aspire Vilter?

Aspire tend to make very good coils so good flavour is key here.

This is an MTL device, so I’m hoping for a tight vape, especially as there’s no airflow control.

I’m going to say right off the bat, the Aspire Vilter is designed for smokers looking to quit, it’s that simple…

There are no bells and whistles, no menu, no buttons, just fill and vape.

So…

Let’s see how this one performs.

This was sent to me via the lovely folk at the UK Aspire Vendor – thank you – and as always my thoughts and opinions are not swayed by freebies.

Aspire Vilter – Key Features

Simplicity is the main unique selling point of the Aspire Vilter, that and of course the option of the lit cigarette style drip tips.

There’s no buttons or menu – simply fill it up from the base of the 2ml pod and vape – easy.

I’ve been using this for about a week and despite the tiny 450 mAh internal battery, I’ve got just under half a day using it constantly.

The Type-C charging means it takes less than a hour from flat to full and there’s pass thru – vaping whilst it’s on charge.

Design and Build Quality

It is what it is…simple yet elegantly designed, a kind of flattened pen style kit.

The little honeycomb style LED on the front looks good and is unobtrusive as are the low key logos.

Less is definitely more with regards the look and design of the Aspire Vilter that’s for sure.

Build wise yes it could be called a little plasticcy, however it’s a light as the proverbial feather.

I’ve dropped it a couple of times out and about and there’s no dinks or scratches so tough enough for day to day use.

battery magnets

The pod is held in place by magnets which are strong enough to give only the slightest wobble.

There are x4 colours to choose from:

So overall it’s smart and simple…

The question is…how does it vape?

How Does the Aspire Vilter Perform?

I’ve been using nic salts in the Aspire Vilter which I reckon is a perfect match up.

For the record it’s been the IVG Crushed Range Paradise Lagoon – bloody lovely stuff.

Filling can be a pain – there’s no air outlet hole so you really need to jam the nozzle in as far as it will go…otherwise it will flow back on you!

Once sealed up I’ve had absolutely no leaks whatsoever and it’s been in my pocket and rucksack daily.

Flavour off the 1.0ohm mesh coil is very good indeed – once it’s broken in. I found 2 to 3 fills saw the flavour come to the fore, so be patient!

Aspire Vilter Paper Drip Tips

We have of course had lit cigarette style paper drip tips before with the Innokin EQ FLTR kit.

I reviewed that one and loved it and still use it…an ideal vape kit to come of the lit cigs.

aspire vilter paper drip tips

The Aspire Vilter soft paper tips look like they’ve been made by the same manufacturer and again are really nice in the mouth.

One thing I will say is with the paper tips in, you can lose or bend them if you pop them in your bag or pocket.

They really do give off a nice tight MTL vape with 10 being the tightest these are around and 8/8.5.

The plastic tip is maybe a little – only a tad – looser, and I have tended to use that one the most.

There’s no airflow control BTW – not an issue at all, and flavour wise there’s no real difference between the two.

Pros

  • Dead simple to use
  • Clean simple design
  • Bottom fill pod
  • Decent battery life
  • Fast charging
  • Lightweight
  • Choice of plastic or paper tips

Cons

  • Filling can be an issue
  • Sealed pods – can’t swap out the coil
  • Only 1 pod/coil in the box

Final Review Verdict

This is probably the shortest and simplest vape kit review I’ve written.

And there’s that word again – simple!

That’s the best way to describe the Aspire Vilter – no real bells and whistles it does exactly what it should and very well indeed.

Once the mesh coil breaks in the flavour is pretty good – as is the amount of vapour.

The paper tips are ideal for the absolute brand new vaper straight off the cigs, and remind me of the filters you get in roll-ups.

Not much more to say really…apart from I would like to have seen at least 2 pods in the kit…

Other than that, it’s solid – simple and vapes very well indeed…

The Aspire Vilter kit has a permanent place in my rucksack alongside the Caliburn G let’s put it that way.

I have simpler vape tastes these days - I never leave home without a Caliburn G, a Vaporesso Luxe 40 or Innokin EQ FLTR and a CBD vape pen or bottle of CBD drops in my rucksack...or indeed an Aspire Nautilus Prime X in my pocket... At home I'll be using various mods topped with the GeekVape Zeus X RTA or the Signature Mods Mono SQ topped with the Augvape BTFC RDA... I'm a former journalist and now a writer and sometimes author... I'm ex Army - adore dogs and never happier than hiking over the hills or with a good book on a beach.

  1. Hi there… I have been using the Aspire Vilter for a few months, but after a while, the cotton in the coils stop absorving the liquid as well as before and you start tasting a bit of burned cotton within the flavour… I have already bot a bunch of new coils but I am having the same issue after a while with each of them… Is there any way to clean the coils and restore the cotton to its previous absorption state so it doesn’t burn?
