Woohoo – A proper kit – not a pod mod – meet the new Augvape VX217 Kit!
More Details On the Augvape VX217 Kit…
The kit consists of the VX217 mod and the new Intake Sub ohm tank. I will be covering the tank in another preview – so here I will just concentrate on the actual mod.
Like I said above the ancestors of this mod are the V200 and the Vtec mods. Following on from those Augvape released the VX200 which was a lightweight version which some found slightly disappointing.
Augvape themselves state that the VX217 is the upgrade to the VX200 but made of Zinc Alloy to make it more “solid”.
So as the name suggests this mod uses 2×21700 batteries which are not included. You can also use 20700 or with the included adaptors 18650 as well.
Output wise this has a maximum output of 217W – I assume this is achieved using high capacity 21700 batteries. Also this mod will reach 12V – could I run my car stereo off it? Being serious though even some of the higher output mods can only reach 8V which is still pretty high!
On the front of the mod is the 1.3in colour display which also has plenty of colour themes to customise the appearance.
Above that is the fire button and below is the spin dial used for scrolling through menus. Below the dial is the type C USB port.
There are 3 colours to choose from: Black, Grey and Green.
