The Amnis 2 Kit By Eleaf Previewed
The Eleaf Amnis 2 Kit is an update to the original Amnis kit.
It is fair to say the original didn’t fare too well in review. So I think the upgrade will be well received all round!
The kit comprises of the new Amnis 2 Mod and the GTiO tank.
Looking at the mod first – this has an internal 1100mAh battery and you can adjust the output up to a maximum of 23W.
There are 4 power levels Low, Medium, High and Max. The actual power output at these levels is depending on what coil is installed:
- Below 1ohm resistance: Low = 12W, Medium = 15W, High = 18W, Max = 23W.
- Above 1 ohm resistance: Low = 3.2V, Medium = 3.6V, High = 4V, Max = 4.6V.
The power level selected is displayed with one of the LED lights on the side of the mod and you use the power control button to change between them.
On the front is the fire button and surrounding that is the battery LED indicator which changes colour according to the battery capacity remaining.
Moving on to the tank, this is a pretty simple affair and has 3 coil options to choose from:
- GT-M – 0.6ohm mesh coil (included in kit)
- GT 1.2ohm coil (included in kit)
- GT-C 1.4ohm ceramic coil
The coils have a push in and pull out design to make installation easier.
There is a slide top fill cap with the option of a childproof locking system too.
I can’t see any mention of airflow adjustment – which is a shame – especially when you have the different types of coils you can use with this tank.
There are 5 colours to choose from: Red, Silver, Black, Green and Rainbow.
