Flavour Factory: Rhubarb & Custard
Our recent review of the Pear Drop e-liquid from Flavour Factory had us chomping at the bit to try more of their concoctions. Luckily for us we were sent a few more flavours to try out!
That brings us to our Rhubarb & Custard e-liquid review.
Again Rhubarb & Custard was always one of my top picks when buying sweets on my school lunch break so I had high hopes for this e-liquid.
The bottle received was a PG/VG mix, one slight downside is that they don’t have the % mix details on the bottle or website which would be nice to see.

The smell from the bottle is exactly what you would expect from Rhubarb & Custard X 10, definitely takes me back, nice strong aroma!
On vaping though the flavour came through quite muted! Gutted. This can’t be right I thought?
Patience.. I decided to let it steep for a few days and hope that things would liven up a bit.
Second attempt, much better.
Whether it just needed to sit for a while or whether my tastebuds were playing up that day I’m not too sure, this time around the sweet flavours were coming through nicely.
Still a touch on the subtle side, not as much oomph as I’d of thought from smelling it but I had absolutely no issues vaping this all day… And some. A great tasting e-liquid.
No problems on this front, plenty of vapour being produced.
Subtle, but I personally like this when vaping sweet and fruity flavours. The higher nicotine strengths should give a bit more of a throat hit.
After letting the e-liquid sit I really enjoyed the Rhubarb & Custard. If you were or are into the sweets then I would recommend trying this out. The pricing is also reasonable at £4.99 for 10ml and £9.99 for 30ml.
