The Hugo Vapor Kylin 30W Pod is a new pod mod design – and nothing to do with the Vandy Vape Kylin range of tanks! On some vendor sites I am seeing this has been renamed to the “Planet” perhaps as a consequence of the confusion?
As the name suggests the mod will output 5-30W and is variable wattage. The adjustment buttons are behind the removable front panel.
A small 0.49inch OLED screen on the side of the mod will display all the user data.
Inside the mod is a 1000mAh internal battery which is recharged using the USB type C cable.
Your e-liquid lives in the “pod” which is basically a removable and disposable tank. You can refill this with your own e-liquid however you cannot replace the coil. This is a bit wasteful but I can see the benefit to those who don’t want messy hands or find changing coils too fiddly!
There are two types of pod and both are included in the kit:
- Kylin Mesh Pod – 0.6ohm coil – maximum power = 30W
- Kylin Regular Pod – 1.2ohm coil – maximum power = 15W.
To refill the pod remove the screw top cap and the fill port is on the top of the device.
The airflow is sadly not adjustable on this kit.
There are 8 colours to choose from: Red Blood, Blue Ocean, Black Monster, Silver Ice, Inspire, Venom, Hell Monster and Spirit.
