The Orbiter GT230 Mod By Hugo Vapor Previewed
Oh lord what on earth is this? Well it is in fact the Hugo Vapor Orbiter GT230 mod.
Hugo Vapor have never been scared to knock out something a bit different. Sometimes it has worked well like with the amazing Squeezer Squonk kit. Sometimes it looks hideous like the Ranger GT234 mod and the Rader Mage mod.
And sadly to me at least the Orbiter falls into the hideous category.
Poor thing can’t help how it looks though so let’s look deeper into what the Orbiter GT230 has to offer!
For a start one big selling point is the ability to use 30mm tanks on this with no overhang – there are not many mods capable of this.
The maximum output is 230W as the name suggests and this is achieved using 2×18650 batteries which you don’t get in the kit.
On the front is the 0.96in colour TFT screen. You can display a clock on here plus the various user modes which include Variable Wattage, Temperature Control, TCR and Custom mode.
The mod is designed to be ergonomic and nice to grip and is apparently lightweight at 70g – but I don’t know if this is with batteries installed or not?
There are 3 colours available – Splatter, Flash and Red Camo.

Yeh well I really am not sure what to put here – I am trying to be nice…
Performance wise this could be a great mod – plus if you spill paint or your meal on it you won’t notice?
Let me know what you think of the Hugo Vapor Orbiter GT230 mod in the comments below – and be kind – it has feelings you know!
Lol! Very interesting indeed!
I actually like the look of this mod, it is different and should be comfortable to hold, its ultra light weight is a bonus for me. Hugo Vapor do at least try to be different, unlike Smok they have not gone for the hard military looks of the mag but have kept the basic shape.
I think it looks like it will also be good to put down on teh coffee table when using my laptop and be confident it will not fall over.
Basically I like the look of the Orbiter enough to give it serious consideration
Haha you like something a bit different don’t you our Bill – however it does have the bonus of the 30mm tank ability.
Hope you keeping well fella!
