The KangerTech VBar is another addition to the “Bar” family which so far consists of the Ibar and the Ubar pod kits…
Yes I know – another pod kit – but does this offer anything new? Let’s have a closer look!
What To Expect From The KangerTech VBar Kit?
Looking first at the battery component of the device – there is an internal 1000mAh battery.
A Micro USB charging port is provided which will charge at a 1A charging rate.
The output is variable between 15-40W by selecting one of the 5 power levels:
- 15W – Level 1
- 20W – Level 2
- 25W – Level 3
- 30W – Level 4
- 40W – Level 5
Although this does not have a screen a series of LED indicators display the power level selected but there is no mention of whether these will display the remaining battery capacity too.
The pod is removable and refillable via the side fill port with up to 4ml of your own e-liquid. However the TPD Version is reduced to 2ml total capacity.
You can remove and replace the coil by simply pushing in or pulling out the coil.
This kit uses the BS coil range which are also compatible with the Ubar kit. There are 2 coils included:
- 0.8ohm wire NiCr coil
- 0.3ohm Mesh Kanthal coil
An airflow control ring is located below the mouthpiece to adjust the airflow to suit.
There are 2 colours to choose from: Black and White.
