More Details On The OBS Skye Kit…
Inside the mod part of the kit is a 1600mAh internal battery which is charged via the USB Type C port at up to 2A charge rate. OBS state that the battery can be charged in around 90 minutes.
A 0.96in colour LED screen displays all of your vaping data.
You can adjust the wattage to your preference between 5-40W.
The device is controlled by the new SKYE chip which has plenty of safety features and a 0.001 second firing speed.
There are 2 pod types included in the kit which cater to the different vaping styles.
The coils are removable and there are 2 coils included in the kit. The O-ring colour corresponds to the fill plug port on the suitable pod.
- OM SK wire 1ohm coil – for the MTL pod
- OM YE mesh 0.4ohm coil – for the Restricted DTL pod.
To refill the pod remove it from the mod and access the fill port by lifting the side silicon cover.
As seen on the Cube FP the FP version of the Skye has the fingerprint recognition for child safety and to generally stop unauthorised use of your vape.
There are 6 colours to choose from: Red, Gunmetal, Black, Silver, Rainbow and Green.

This really fits in with the rest of OBS latest devices including the “Cube” range styling wise. Plus plenty of features to keep you amused.
It would be nice to see if there will be any more coil options in future.
