The TFV16 Tank By Smok – Return of the King?
The Smok TFV16 Tank is a new monster sized tank from Smok.
In the past I remember seeing a massive sub ohm tank from Smok which was stupidly huge – but for the life of me I can’t remember the name of it! Most likely one of the previous TFV editions.
So just to be bigger and better (?) Smok have now released this with a huge 9ml capacity.
There are new coils for this whopper which are called the TFV16 coils (no doubt there will be baby, beast and uncle versions soon too)…
- TFV16 single mesh – comes in kit already installed – 0.17ohm up to 120W
- TFV16 dual mesh – comes in kit – 0.12ohm – up to 120W
- TFV16 triple mesh – bought separately – 0.15ohm best at 90W
The tank has the familiar button lock swing open top fill cap with a relocated gasket which promises to avoid leakage.
On the top of the tank is the drip tip which seems to be going down the same route as the TFV8 Baby V2 which I had in the Mag Grip Kit where it is a sleeve rather than a full drip tip.
You can buy replacements but they are not standard fitting.
At the base of the tank are the dual airflow slots which are adjustable. Smok also say the tank base is higher to allow larger airflow inlets.
There are 6 colours to choose from – Black Plating, Red, Blue, Gold, Stainless Steel or 7-Colour.

This is definitely a beast – however I am worried that 9ml of e-liquid is more likely to kill your mod when it leaks!
Would you buy the Smok TFV16 Tank? Is it the beast you want to tame? Let me know in the comments below!
