The Caliburn Koko Pod Kit By Uwell Previewed

The Uwell Caliburn Koko Pod Kit is a new release to follow on from the popular Caliburn pod mod.koko banner

I reviewed the Caliburn and love the flavour it kicks out – my only gripe was the battery life.koko components

Sadly with exactly the same size internal battery as the Caliburn (520mAh) there is no improvement on that front – gutted!koko battery

But you can use the same Caliburn pods which I love plus the new 1.2ohm pod which comes in the Koko kit.koko pods

The pods have a top fill – which is not the easiest – but it does work and they will hold up to 2ml of your own e-liquid.koko refilling

You cannot replace the coils as these are disposable pods – so when the coil life has expired you throw the pod away and install a new one.koko poster

Thankfully pod installation is as easy as pushing the pod into the battery or just pulling out the existing pod.koko pod removal

Talking of the battery component this has a draw activated firing mechanism so no fire button on the Koko.koko draw activate

There is an LED to indicate battery capacity remaining by changing colour – same as the Caliburn.koko led

There are 4 colours to choose from: Grey, Blue, Black and Red.

koko specsI think you can tell I am absolutely gutted this doesn’t have a bigger battery! I have 2 Caliburn kits which I love and use daily but I am always charging them. When the blue light comes on the power is so low you end up sticking it back on charge!

Oh Uwell please make one with a bigger battery!

Anyway what do you think of the Uwell Caliburn Koko Pod Kit? Let me know in the comments below!
