The Caliburn Koko Pod Kit By Uwell Previewed
The Uwell Caliburn Koko Pod Kit is a new release to follow on from the popular Caliburn pod mod.
I reviewed the Caliburn and love the flavour it kicks out – my only gripe was the battery life.
Sadly with exactly the same size internal battery as the Caliburn (520mAh) there is no improvement on that front – gutted!
But you can use the same Caliburn pods which I love plus the new 1.2ohm pod which comes in the Koko kit.
The pods have a top fill – which is not the easiest – but it does work and they will hold up to 2ml of your own e-liquid.
You cannot replace the coils as these are disposable pods – so when the coil life has expired you throw the pod away and install a new one.
Thankfully pod installation is as easy as pushing the pod into the battery or just pulling out the existing pod.
Talking of the battery component this has a draw activated firing mechanism so no fire button on the Koko.
There is an LED to indicate battery capacity remaining by changing colour – same as the Caliburn.
There are 4 colours to choose from: Grey, Blue, Black and Red.
- Uwell Caliburn Koko Pod
- 1.2ohm pod
- Chain lanyard
- USB cable
- User manual

I think you can tell I am absolutely gutted this doesn’t have a bigger battery! I have 2 Caliburn kits which I love and use daily but I am always charging them. When the blue light comes on the power is so low you end up sticking it back on charge!
Oh Uwell please make one with a bigger battery!
