In a vape scene awash with pod mods right now – it is nice to find some rebuildables still being released – have a nosey at the Vandy Vape Mato RDTA…mato poster

However I can’t hold it in – I just have to say it… Vapefly Brunhilde… there we go. Now I can get on with this preview…

Let’s Have A Look At The Features Of The Vandy Vape Mato RDTA…

So as mentioned above – this reminds me a lot of the Vapefly Brunhilde. The reason being the method for transferring the e-liquid from the tank section up to the deck.mato components

As this is a RDTA – the deck is above the e-liquid tank so to get the liquid up to the deck Vandy Vape have decided to use steel wires.Vandy Vape Mato RDTA wires

The wires take the liquid up to deck level and from there the coil is wicked with cotton as usual.Vandy Vape Mato RDTA views

This has a single coil build deck with concealed clamp screws which are accessed via the side of the deck.Vandy Vape Mato RDTA deck

On the side of the deck are the honeycomb airflow outlets directing air to both sides of the coil.mato barrel removed

Rotating the top barrel adjusts the incoming airflow to your preference.Vandy Vape Mato RDTA squonk pin

There is a hollow bottom feed 510 pin to use this on a squonk mod (or “Squank” hahaha) or if using with the solid 510 pin a filling port is located on the side of the deck.Vandy Vape Mato RDTA fill port

The tank capacity is 5ml – but I am not sure if this will have to be reduced for sale in TPD affected areas.

There are 5 colours to choose from: Matte Black, Frosted Grey, Stainless Steel, Gold and Gun Metal.

My name is Michelle - I am 44 and an engineer and Technical Author by trade. I started vaping many years ago in the days of Tornado tanks, Ego batteries and Variable Voltage. My journey in vaping began again a few years ago and have started to move up in the shiny shiny gadget department and love vaping! I have finally stopped smoking as of June 2019 and that is all thanks to vaping! 20mg Nicotine Salts are my hero! Oh and I am partial to a nice pod mod!
