Scientists are calling on vapers across the world to take part in a COVID-19 vape survey in the hope the results will combat the ridiculous claims vaping is linked to the spread of the virus.

They say the anti-vape brigade is using the current pandemic to spread even more unsubstantiated claims about vaping, and hope the results of this global survey will go some way to address the balance.

covid-19 vape survey Tobacco Control Unit at the Bellvitge Hospital

The survey is being run from the Tobacco Control Unit at the Bellvitge Hospital of Barcelona, and in conjunction with the University of Barcelona, the International Vaccination Center of the Hospital de Bellvitge and the University of Milan.

The experts behind the survey say:

As you know, the terrible situation regarding COVID-19 is being taken advantage of by the usual anti-THR lobbies to continue carrying out campaigns of harassment and destabilization against vaping.

During the last weeks, headlines around the world are scaring vapers and smokers by claiming, WITHOUT SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE, that vapers and smokers are more likely to become infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Since it is obvious that not all vapers have been tested for COVID-19, we can only rely on the symptoms of this population group to obtain a possible relationship between vaping and SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The conclusions of these data will therefore only be solid if the sample size is as large as possible.

Therefore, we are asking all international vaping groups to please collaborate by asking their colleagues to take the survey.

In collaboration with the universities mentioned before, the survey will also obtain data on the mobility and behavior of the general population in order to model possible expansions of the virus in the medium term, so we will also be collaborating with scientists by providing them very useful information in the fight against the virus.

The survey won’t take more than 2 minutes out of your schedule, hence we are requesting maximum participation. If you’re using your cellphone to fulfill the survey, switch from vertical to HORIZONTAL mode.

All data collected will remain confidential and the survey can be completed very quickly – I know because I’ve taken part 😉

So please do take a couple of minutes to fill out the COVID-19 vape survey, let’s face it if you’re home during the lock down you’ve probably got plenty of time on your hands!

  1. I started Vaping in 2014 and have never felt the need to have a cancer causing combustible cigarette again.
I previously smoked for 30 years and thought I was hooked for life.
My first device was a Aspire Atlantis sub ohm tank and instantly new this would work for me.
I am so happy I managed to quit cigarettes.
    Thank you VAPING.
