The Geekvape Aegis Legend III kit is the latest member of the “legendary” brand.
The Aegis range is one of the most popular – their signature feature is a rugged design. Often waterproof, shock proof and dust proof!
What To Expect From The Geekvape Aegis Legend 3…
The full kit consists of the Aegis Legend 3 mod and the existing Z Fli tank.
I will look at the mod first. You will need 2×18650 batteries (which are not included). A USB Type C port is provided with a fast 3A charge rate (dependent on suitable USB outlet).
Output wise this is specified as 5-200W. You get Power (Variable Wattage), TCR, Smart (device automatically sets the correct output), Boosting, ECO (preserve battery charge) and Memory user modes.
The memory mode gives you the ability to store the parameters of your favourite vape – there are 5 memory spaces available.
A colour 0.96in TFT screen displays all of your vaping data.
As with all Aegis kits this has IP-68 Water, Dust and Shock resistance.
One of the new features is the ability to lock the mod. You have two options – either use a button to lock / unlock the device or in the “touch lock” mode – the device will recognise your palm and unlock automatically. Ideal to make sure the device is not accidentally triggered, especially when it comes to children.
The brain of the mod is the AS Chip 4.0 which has Buck-Boost technology to keep the output stable regardless of the battery charge.
Included in the full kit is the Geekvape Z Fli Sub Ohm tank – which we have covered in another preview here. But I will give a quick summary below!
This is part of the Z / Zeus range, which are popular due to their top airflow inlet system. As the e-liquid sits below the air inlets there is less chance of leaking compared to bottom airflow tanks.
So not to buck the trend you will also find the same adjustable top airflow here.
As an improvement there are graduated markings to show the adjustment levels of the airflow to help you recognise the correct setting.
When will the Porsche Carrera version be on sale? I’m from Denmark.
