What Can We Expect From The JNP Bar Salts 6000+ Range?
Mixed and bottled in the UK by Juice N Power, the JNP Bar Salts 6000+ e-liquid range takes inspiration from popular disposable vape flavours and throws in some new blends, to ensure that there is something for everyone in the range!
Each JNP Bar Salts 6000+ e-liquid is blended to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio, suited for refillable pod systems, and comes in a childproof 10ml bottle.
Over 20 e-liquids make up the JNP Bar Salts 6000+ range, and nicotine strengths are available in 10mg and 20mg, with nicotine salt used to provide a smooth throat hit and fast nicotine absorption to satisfy nicotine cravings!
I was sent five of the JNP Bar Salts 6000+ range to review, and as these have been developed for refillable pod systems I tested these out in the Eleaf iVeni Duo and the OXVA XLIM Go 2, which are two kits we will shortly have reviews live on- keep your eyes peeled for those!

Blackcurrant Aniseed
They say:
“An intense mix of liquorice flavour, aniseed and juicy blackcurrants”
We say:
I can start this off by saying that I am really not a fan of aniseed in the slightest, it always reminds me of sambuca and my days overdoing it in my early twenties!
However, I was pleasantly surprised by this e-liquid as thankfully the aniseed flavouring isn’t too strong!
Thankfully, for me anyway, the blackcurrant is strong and dominant in this blend. It is like a strong blackcurrant squash type of flavour, and the aniseed adds more of a floral background note in the blend.
There is a lot of sweetener that I could pick up on, which I feel does help to cut through the aniseed notes. At the end, there’s also a slight chill too, which I felt went well here.
Double Apple Shisha
They say:
“an authentic shisha flavour with a mix of red and green apples”
We say:
When I think Shisha, I think back to the days when I used to enjoy an apple flavoured shisha, which would be a very sweet apple flavour with a smooth tobacco!
This blend doesn’t feature the tobacco, but mixes red and green apple flavourings and elevates them with a lot of sweetener to try and capture that element of apple shisha.
It is a very tasty blend of red and green apple, that isn’t just sweet but also has plenty of pleasing bite to it, as well as a cool crispness to finish things off!
Blue Razz Gummy Bear
They say:
“a playful blend of blue raspberries and sweet gummy bears”
We say:
The five e-liquids that I received from this range are sweet, but this one is by far the sweetest out of the lot that I tried!
Blueberry and raspberry combine for that familiar blue raspberry sweet and sour taste, with a sticky, candied and thick syrupy texture that reminded me of having a mouthful of gummy bears.
I could taste a hell of a lot of sweetener in the blend too, making this one of the sweetest e-liquids that I have tried this year, which is saying something!
Blue Razz Gummy Bear definitely appealed to my sweet tooth that is for sure!
Mr Blue
They say:
“an exclusive blend of mixed dark berries and spicy aniseed, with a touch of refreshing menthol”
We say:
Ahhhh its the dreaded aniseed again!
This time around, I could really pick up on the aniseed flavouring, which I haven’t done so in other Mr Blue blends that I have vaped in the past. The aniseed is definitely noticeable here and it almost overpowers the blueberry, adding a heavy floral note.
The menthol adds a cooling touch at the end and thankfully refreshes my palate somewhat from the aniseed. If you are a fan of fruity aniseed flavours, then I’m sure you will love this one!
Aloe Vera Grape
They say:
“a mix of the slight bitterness of aloe and the sweet punch of juicy grape”
We say:
Now this is an interesting one, I’ve noticed a bit of an uptick in blends that utilize aloe vera flavouring which is very popular in Asian markets.
What this brings is a bitter contrast to the sweet black grape flavouring, the grape is much like a grape soda rather than the fruit itself. And the aloe vera works pretty well in cutting through the sweetness here.
There’s also a nice, cooling finish to the blend too, it is one that definitely grew on me over time but it did take a fair few puffs for me to fully get my head around the blend!
Final Review Verdict
Bar Salt e-liquids are known for providing strong, sweet flavours that replicate the experience from a disposable vape and that is exactly what I got from the JNP Bar Salts 6000+ e-liquids that I got to try out!
These feature intense flavour, amped up with a lot of sweetener in the blend, which definitely provides appeal to those that are switching over from disposables thanks to the recent ban on them in the UK.
In terms of mixing, these are pretty much bang on the money, providing an authentic flavour experience. They might feature a lot of flavour but I didn’t find them to be too overpowering!
