In today’s review we are checking out the Mejusa Bar Salts range from Juice N Power!
Juice N Power were founded by All Power Trading Ltd, who are based in Preston, UK and they are specialists in providing premium vaping products to adults with a wide range of e-liquids, devices and accessories.
What Can We Expect From The Mejusa Bar Salts Range?
Mejusa Bar Salts have been specifically crafted for vapers that enjoy a bold and satisfying e-liquid, replicating the sweet and intense flavours that had been provided by a disposable vape!
Each Mejusa Bar Salt e-liquid is bottled within the UK, and comes in a TPD-friendly 10ml bottle, mixed to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio which makes them ideal for use with refillable pod systems.
Nicotine strengths are available in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg, with nicotine salt used to provide a smooth throat hit and fast nicotine absorption to satisfy nicotine cravings!
The Mejusa Bar Salts range has just undergone a refresh, with over 20 different flavours added to the existing Mejusa Bar Salts range, which features a range of e-liquids that act as a great alternative to disposable vapes as well as some fresh and intriguing new combinations.
I was sent five of the Mejusa Bar Salts range to review, and I tested these out in the Eleaf iVeni Duo and the OXVA XLIM Go 2, which are two refillable pod systems that we shall shortly be reviewing!
Just before I get underway, I must remind you that all views on these e-liquids are my own, and your own experiences with these e-liquids may vary depending on which vaping devices you use…
Blue Pear
They say:
“Fruity, punchy, and refreshingly smooth — Mejusa Blue Pear brings together the tang of blue raspberry with the crisp sweetness of ripe pear. This balanced blend offers a juicy inhale and a satisfying fruity finish that keeps things bright and bold without being overpowering”
We say:
I’m always intrigued to try an e-liquid that deviates from all the disposable styled flavours that dominate the e-liquid market, and a combination of blue raspberry and pear is definitely one that breaks from the norm!
At first, I get a very strong hit of blue raspberry flavouring, there’s a full flavoured berry texture present thanks to the combination of blueberry and raspberry flavourings, and quite a bold texture to it.
The pear provides a sharp and sour contrast to the berry flavours, the sourness is elevated further thanks to the inclusion of raspberry.
As I expected, this is very sweet thanks to the artificial sweetener present, and this is a theme with the other e-liquids from this range that I received for review, however this is to be expected from a bar salt range.
One thing to note was that I found that as I increased the power in the Eleaf iVeni Duo up to 30W, the blue raspberry notes became even more intense and almost totally overpowered the pear to the point that I could barely taste it, I found that I had a far more balanced vape at around 20-25W!
Mentos Mint
They say:
“Fresh, cool, and inspired by a classic — Mejusa Mentos Mint salt delivers a crisp peppermint flavour with just a hint of sweetness. Designed to replicate the taste of the iconic minty sweet, this vape is a go-to for those who love clean, refreshing flavours that leave your palate feeling fresh”
We say:
It feels like Mejusa set out to replicate a chewy mint sweet flavour with Mentos Mint and they have done a great job at replicating the taste of its namesake!
The OXVA XLIM Go 2 really excelled at bringing out an authentic mint flavour from this e-liquid, tasting like actual mint leaf and really elevating the crisp sharpness from the mint flavouring.
A good helping of sweetener helps to bring out that authentic mint candy vibe, before a strong and pleasant chill sweeps through this blend, providing a really robust hit of menthol that refreshes my palate!
Tropical Ice Blast
They say:
“Exotic, fruity, and finished with a cooling blast — New Mejusa salt flavours like Tropical Ice Blast bring serious flavour and freshness in every puff. A mix of tangy pineapple, ripe mango, and other tropical fruits comes together with a menthol kick for a vibrant vape that refreshes and energises”
We say:
Ok, well after reading the description of this e-liquid, I was very surprised that the main flavour that I got from this was coconut! And this pleased me greatly, as I absolutely love coconut.
I definitely get a pina colada styled vibe with this blend, but the coconut flavouring is really strong here, almost to a point where the fruit flavours are in danger of being lost altogether.
I would say that the pineapple and mango flavours were more like undertones in the background, becoming slightly more prominent on the exhale, and I could only detect those two. I definitely pick up on a sour tang of pineapple on my tongue at the end!
Overall, I found this an incredibly moreish experience, as the coconut flavour is so tasty- it was like vaping coconut flakes with a hint of fruit, exotic indeed!
Raspberry Plum
They say:
“Rich, fruity, and beautifully balanced — Mejusa salt Raspberry Plum pairs the tang of sharp raspberries with the smooth, juicy depth of ripe plum. This unique combination creates a layered vape that’s sweet, slightly tart, and totally moreish”
We say:
I can’t say that I was overly enthused about trying a blend of raspberry and plum, but boy did I change my opinion once I got vaping away on this one!
Raspberry is the most dominant flavour out of the two, with the plum used to contrast between the raspberry notes.
At first, I get a sweet and sour onslaught from the raspberry flavouring, before the tart plum flavouring cuts through the sweetness of the raspberry flavour and becomes even more prominent on the exhale.
Raspberry Plum was definitely a grower on me, actually becoming my favourite of the five that I tried out, and one that I would most happily purchase again!
Apple Pear Ice
They say:
“Crisp, juicy, and refreshingly cool — Apple Pear Ice Mejusa delivers a clean fruit fusion with a frosty finish. Combining the sweet bite of ripe apples with the mellow smoothness of fresh pear, this blend is elevated by an icy menthol exhale that brings balance and lift”
We say:
Rather than one flavour being more dominant, both the apple and pear flavours are strong, robust and noticeable in this blend.
I was impressed with how authentic they both tasted here as well, some skilful blending and great flavouring selection makes the apple and pear elements taste almost like the real thing!
Due to the apple and pear flavours, this delivers a very crisp vape, with a nice bit of bite to it as well.
If I’m being picky, I would have liked the menthol element to be a little stronger (if it was as strong as it is in the Mentos Mint blend that would be ideal!), but overall this is a great blend of apple and pear flavourings.
Final Review Verdict
Well, even though I only got to try out a small sample of the Mejusa Bar Salts range, I came away very impressed with the quality of these e-liquids, with some extremely skilful blending on display here!
I loved the ambition with some of the blends here, which shows a commitment to developing something new and appealing, rather than churning out the same old bar salt flavours.
The flavours are intense and sweet, replicating that disposable taste, yet they didn’t seem all that harsh on the coils in my pod systems, which can be an issue with e-liquids that contain a lot of artificial sweetener.
And, even though these are blended to a 50/50 VG/PG ratio, vapour production is quite pleasing from these e-liquids, I was getting clouds that were denser than I expected them to be!
If you are transitioning from disposables to refillable pod systems, you have got some existing favourites covered by this range, as well as some exciting new flavour combinations to try out in this range.
When it comes to price, Mejusa Bar Salts are pretty hard to beat as you can pick up a 10ml bottle for £2.99- making them excellent value for money!
