The RPM 40 Kit By Smok Previewed

The Smok RPM 40 Kit is the next level in pod mod vape kits.rpm 40 poster

We have seen plenty of pod kits lately but one of my all time favourites is still the Smok Nord.rpm components

Thankfully the new Smok pod kit gives more than a nod to the successful Nord kit – I will explain how!rpm 40 kit black

As this is a pod kit you get a removable pod – which in essence is your tank.

Inside the pod is a removable coil. The excellent thing about the RPM 40 kit is there are sooo many options of pods and coils to choose from:rpm 40 pod options

  • RPM pod – basically this pod is designed to use the new RPM coil range which consists of the RPM Mesh (0.4ohm), Triple 0.6ohm, Quartz 1.2ohm and 1ohm coils.rpm coils
  • Nord pod – this pod is designed for use with the existing Nord coil range – Regular DC (0.6ohm twin coil), MTL Mesh (0.8ohm), Mesh (0.6ohm) and regular (1.4ohm). These are also compatible with the Nord AIO and Trinity Alpha kits.

  • Also apparently there will be a rebuildable pod option coming soon!rpm rba

In the kit you get the RPM pod with 0.4ohm mesh coil and the Nord pod with the 0.6ohm Dual coil. On top of all the coil options available the coil is replaceable meaning you don’t have to discard the pod when the coil has expired.rpm 40 kit prism chrome

The pod gets its power from the mod (or battery) component, which has an internal battery with a huge 1500mAh capacity.rpm 40 battery

The front of the device houses a 0.96in colour screen and using that you can adjust the output of the device between 1 and 40W. Again making this kit so versatile to match whichever coil you choose.rpm 40 screen

There are 8 colours to choose from: Bright Black, Prism Chrome, Purple Red, Prism Gold, Prism Rainbow, White, Orange and Green.

The Smok RPM 40 Kit looks to be even better and so versatile. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

  1. kalau coil 0,6 ohm pada coil smok nord pakai liquid freebase atau saltnic (if the coil is 0.6 ohms on the smok nord coil use liquid freebase or salt nic)

  2. Just received the RPM40 and installed the RPM mesh coil and the FLAVOR is AWESOME!!! Combine that with the adjustable wattage, portability and then if they introduce the rebuildable deck option….love it!!!!!!

  3. I need to have some reviews of this device. I have been using Aspire Nautilus AIO. This one does taste good, but the coil doesn’t last very long. So, I’m willing to get a new one. I have been consuming salt nic juices and not willing to switch to freebase juices right now.

If I use this with the MTL coil, would the coil last longer than Aspire Nautilus AIO. In my Nautilus kit, any coil lasts barely a week. So, looking forward to something which doesn’t have such problem. If RPM 40 isn’t even the right choice for me, please suggest me which one I should go for.

    Thanking you.

    • Hi there, not sure if we are getting this device in for review at the moment.
What I will say is that this can use the Nord and RPM coils.
I used the Nord 1.4ohm regular coils in the Nord and get around a week – but I do vape heavily and use nicotine salts.

Also there is a rebuildable coil option on the way for the RPM range. I haven’t tried any of the RPM coils as yet.
      Hope this helps.

Another one too possibly look at is the Innokin EQ or EQs – they have fixed coil pods but they did last weeks.
Another pod I loved which seemed to do well with Nic Salts was the Geekvape Frenzy but with the 0.7ohm coil.

The higher resistance coil was ok but not a patch on the 0.7ohm. Plus there is always the Nord kit which has plenty of coils to choose from, a pack of 5 coils is around £10 and I was getting around a week on one coil. I had one coil for 2 weeks and the flavour had dropped a lot but it was still working fine. The Nord is super cheap right now with some vendors selling it for like £15 so might be worth a bash?

I haven’t tried the Nautilus AIO myself so I can’t advise if it is better than any of those mentioned above sadly.
