The Aspire AVP-Cube Kit is the little sibling to the rest of the AVP range including the AVP Pro and AVP pod kits.
This is not showing on the Aspire website as yet so the images are from the UK Aspire Vendor website.
What Is New On The Aspire AVP-Cube Kit?
The Cube kit is so named as the body has a square profile which is apparently for “ergonomic comfort”.
This kit uses the existing AVP-Pro coil range and there are 2 coils included in the kit:
- AVP Pro 0.6ohm Mesh coil
- AVP Pro 1.15ohm standard wire coil
In theory this kit is designed to cater to MTL and DTL vapers. We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide To Vaping Styles.
Inside the device is a 1300mAh battery which is charged via the USB Type C port at up to 2A charge rate.
The brains of the kit are the ASP chipset which also offers plenty of user protections.
Output wise this depends on which coil is installed:
- 1.15ohm coil installed – you can choose from 4 power levels – 10W, 12W, 14W and 16W.
- 0.65ohm coil installed – this uses a bypass output – meaning the device will output between 15-18W depending on the battery charge remaining. The output will decrease as the charge decreases.
You can adjust the airflow to your preference by rotating the pod until the airflow inlet aligns with the preferred airflow holes on the mod body.
Magnets hold the pod in position and the fill port is located on the pod base.
There are 7 colours to choose from: Jet Black, Amethyst Purple, Hunter Green, Navy Blue, Garnet Red, Quicksilver and Space Grey.
