The design of the iTap looks pretty striking and despite looking tiny the body houses a whopping 800mAh internal battery!itap views

This has a fire button activation and also a three colour battery indicator LED light.itap battery indicator

Also included is a “dry burn protection” system – which from what I can gather is similar to Temperature Control and the device will register when the coil gets too hot? However this system only seems to activate using the 1.6ohm coil.

You can refill this device with 2ml of your own e-liquid through the bottom fill port.itap components

The liquid lives in the “Pod cartridge” which is basically a removable tank. You can replace the pod but you can also just simply change the coils too when they are past their best.itap refilling

There is an adjustable airflow ring on the base of the tank so you can adjust the restriction to your preference.

The kit is compatible with the GS air coils which are also used in other Eleaf devices such as the iStick Pico Baby. itap gs air coils

You get a MTL 1.6ohm coil in the kit and a 0.75ohm coil too. The 1.6ohm coil is designed for higher nicotine / nic salt e-liquid where as the 0.75ohm coil could be used for these but will give a more powerful hit. We tell you more about MTL and Vaping styles in our guide.itap pod

There are 3 colours to choose from – Blue, Silver and Black.
