Pod Mods are really popular now – they are handy little mods, low output and small batteries – mainly for ease of carrying around and simple to use.

GTRS of course are well known for many box mods – the VBoy 200, VBoy 222 and the P222 are some you may have seen about.

What can we expect from the G-mate then?

g mate blackObviously it is small and the battery is 400mAh – which is slightly better than some mods but there are better capacities out there.

g mate componentsThe tank (or pod) will hold 1.5ml of e-liquid and this is refillable- an “open pod” system – which is better as you can choose your own E-liquid. These types of device are best suited to high nicotine or nicotine salt e-liquid.

Thankfully GTRS have also included a battery capacity indicator – surprisingly some pod mods do not have these!

Is the GTRS G-Mate destined to be your buddy? Let me know in the comments below!

My name is Michelle - I am 43 and an engineer and Technical Author by trade. I started vaping many years ago in the days of Tornado tanks, Ego batteries and Variable Voltage. My journey in vaping began again last year and have started to move up in the shiny shiny gadget department and love vaping! I have finally stopped smoking as of February 2018 and that is all thanks to vaping! I am a huge dog lover and volunteer for my local dog rescue.
