In this review, I am looking at the Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO (All in One) devices.

Both mods function basically the same but there are a few differences which I will cover further in the review!

Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO – Design and Build Quality

I have the standard 5ml versions of each device.

Both of these AIO mods are manufactured to high standards of design and quality and are made from Zinc Alloy, Stainless Steel, Delrin and PC.

Starting At The Top

The tops have a Stainless Steel 510 mouthpiece connection screw, which can be unscrewed allowing the removal of the Pod/Boro tank.

Magnetic Panels

Magnetic removable plastic panels are fitted front and back!

The panels are simply removed by prising them off with a thumbnail in the slot at the base.

One panel has 3 airflow slots cut into it which aligns with the Pod/Boro tank.

A range of different panel styles are available for different looks!

Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO Bodies

The box-style chassis of each device is made from seamless Zinc Alloy with a smooth finish for a comfortable hold!

The front panel of the B80 sits flush with the fire button. The panel covers the 0.42” OLED screen, plastic adjustment buttons as well as the USB Type C charge port.

With the B60, the screen and plastic rocker adjustment buttons are located on the side of the mod with the USB Type C charge port under the rear panel!

Each metal chassis has 3 airflow slots cut into one side.

And 3 heat sinkholes on the bottom of each mod.

Both AIO devices have the V2.0 Lost Vape Quest chipset, giving a fast fire and options for RBA (variable wattage) and Smart modes (device automatically selects the correct output).

Lost Vape UB Pod and Boro Tank

They are both made of PCTG material!

Both of my tanks have the standard 5ml capacity but 2ml TPD versions are available.

The Boro Tank has a single RBA build deck. It has a 3mm airflow screw pin pre-installed which can be replaced with either the included 1mm or 2mm pins for tighter airflow resistance.

The accessories for the Boro tank (and B80) kit include O-rings, airflow screw pins, 2x Delrin mouthpieces, mouthpiece, screwdrivers and a 510 connection adaptor!

No DIY coils, Type C USB cable or User manual came with my kit.

The UB Pod takes the existing Lost Vape UB Ultra coils. I was supplied with 3 of these coils to try – 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω & 0.3Ω.

The airflow for this pod is adjustable but can be a little fiddly!

Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO – Quick Start Guide

For this example, my main focus will be on the B80!

I will be using the 0.2Ω coil in the UB Pod.

In the Boro tank I will install a 0.5Ω KA1 24g 3.5mm spaced coil.

The liquid I will be using in both tanks is Fruit Falls “Peach Berry”.

Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO Operation

The basic operation of the B80 and B60 are the same!

  • Click the fire button 5x fast to turn the device on/off
  • Three rapid clicks will turn on/off the RBA and Smart modes
  • Each mod will fire coils from 0.15Ω to 3.0Ω

Lost Vape Centaurus UB Pod

  • Remove the UB Pod from the mod using the supplied spanner to unscrew the 510 mouthpiece screw!
  • Prime your coil with a few drops of e-liquid on all visible cotton and push it into the Pod
  • Open the rubber fill port and carefully fill the tank with e-liquid
  • Install the UB Pod into the mod and replace the 510 mouthpiece screw

Lost Vape Centaurus Boro Tank

  • Make your DIY coil or use a pre-made DIY coil!
  • Remove the RBA build deck from the Boro tank and push the build deck from its base
  • Screw the deck onto the 510 adaptor, then screw the deck and adaptor onto a suitable mod or build deck.
  • Install your coil, cutting the wire tails as near to the posts as possible.
  • Insert your cotton through the coil, cut and fluff and then tuck the cotton tails into the build deck.
  • Dampen your cotton and coil with E-liquid.
  • Remove the 510 adaptor and reassemble the Boro tank.
  • Carefully fill the Boro tank with e-liquid, install the tank into the mod and replace the 510 mouthpiece screw.

Whichever tank you use – leave to stand for around 3 minutes so the cotton can soak up more e-liquid before use.

How Does the Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO Perform?

Both of these devices are simple to use – however, I prefer using the Boro Tank in either mod utilising the RBA mode – as I like to dictate the wattage I use.

Flavour and Vapour Production

I was impressed by the excellent flavour of both tanks with my chosen liquid – in fact, I found the flavour from both was pretty similar.

The vapour production from both mods was nice and cloudy!

Airflow

I left the airflow of the UB Pod wide open and set it at 45W, and for the Boro tank with the 3mm airflow screw installed I set it first to 45W and then to 20W!

I found that the UB Pod airflow is hard to turn while in situ due to my hands, so I prefer adjusting it while it’s outside of the mod.

While I love using the 3mm airflow screw in the Boro tank for a cloudy DTL vape, the 1mm gives a great MTL vape and the 2mm gave me a great RTL vape! We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide To Vape Styles.

Compatibility

The B60 and B80 mods are equally compatible with the UB Pod and the Boro Tank!

Personally speaking, I prefer the 0.2Ω ultra coil in the UB Pod.

I have been aiming for around 0.5Ω with my DIY coils in the Boro Tank.

The only real negative thing I have found with the Boro Tank is that if the wattage is too high, the coil tends to cook the liquid making the flavour slightly off-par!

As a minor annoyance, I believe both mods were designed with left handed people in mind – firing the mods right-handed always seems to cover the airflow lol.

Pros

  • Excellent quality and design
  • Customisable replaceable magnetic panels
  • Good flavour and vapour production

Cons

  • UB Pod airflow adjustment is fiddly
  • Airflow side placement
  • Boro tank at high wattage tends to cook e-liquid

Final Review Verdict

Whichever of these Lost Vape AIO mods you choose – you can be assured you have purchased a quality device that if looked after could last many years.

I tend to think of these devices as pocket/travel mods!

In the last few weeks of owning these mods, I have received a constantly good flavour and vapour production, without suffering any misfire or leaks.

I would recommend both these devices to all vaping levels regardless of experience!

Hi my name is Kevin, I started vaping back in 2009 mainly because my little boy at 3 years old was starting to copy the way daddy smoked a cigarette! Over the years I have gained a good amount of experience with different types of vaping hardware but I'm just a normal guy who enjoys sharing my experiences. This is why I started my Youtube vape review channel in 2014. To date the channel has had over 500,000 views. Being disabled, vaping has given me a gateway to meeting people from all different walks of life, many of those I would not have met under other circumstances. The way I look at my reviews is, if I can convince just one person to give up the stinky’s my job is done. I class myself as a tinkerer as I like to take things apart to see how they work and put them back together, yes that includes e-cigarette mods! One day I would like to be able to design my own mod. I am a dedicated father, and husband to my sweetheart of nearly 30 years! Family to me comes before anything else.
