South Coast Vapes Juice Range

I had heard a great deal about these juices from various people. I decided to finally take the plunge and ordered the entire range to try.

I found the South Coast Vapes website to be well laid out and very straightforward to use and I placed a order for 10ml each of all five flavours that are currently available in 6mg nicotine strength.

My order arrived very quickly which is always a bonus when it comes to e-juice. The bottles themselves are very nicely labelled with attractive designs. All of the relevant warning information is clearly marked and the bottles are all hard plastic with child proof caps.

Tom, who runs South Coast Vapes and is a UK juice vendor based in West Sussex was a real pleasure to deal with and he was very happy to answer any questions I had about the juice and the range. In fact the South Coast Vape’s site has some very good background on Tom’s journey from his origins as a DIY vaper to a fully fledged juice vendor. This is what he had to say about his juice:

I am an avid vaper and have always been more passionate about juice than related hardware. Never one to back away from trying new flavours and combinations has stood me in good stead as I find that even if you do not like eating or drinking certain flavours, having them to vape can be a completely different experience.

I tend to enjoy different types of juice at different times of the day and have never really been an “All day vape” kind of person. Variation is key in my opinion and why not? There are so many flavours on the market it seems silly not to broaden horizons.
My juices have been developed to give a broad range of flavour combinations that when used at different wattage give different results. I love the idea that the same juice does not have to give you the same taste and experience no matter how you vape it. This to me leads to some interesting experimentation with almost endless possibilities.
I honestly never intended to start up as vendor but after sending out some samples to fellow vapers the response and demand was mind blowing.

Crackberry:

This juice is described by South Coast Vaper as:

I have been told…..lots of strawberry without the slight hint of chemical aftertaste that most (if not all) other strawberries have. It has a wonderful biscuity, almost digestive base to a cheesecake feel, and the thing that blends this together perfectly is the hint of cinnamon, that is almost not there, but gives a balance to this juice…..it binds it all together to give you a juice that is fast becoming some vapers number one juice.

South Coast Vapes CrackberryWith this juice you get a very full on strawberry taste enhanced with spicy cinnamon. The biscuit is also noticeable in this juice and is really quite delicious.

I was actually reminded of Jammie Dodger biscuits but with a dusting of cinnamon and that is certainly how I would describe this juice.

Interestingly the liquid changes to quite a degree as you increase the wattage and the cinnamon tends to become far more prominent. For a 60/40 VG/PG mix this juice really does produce quite a lot of vapour. Throat hit is mild in terms of the strawberry but depending on your wattage the cinnamon does tend to give more of a throat hit so it can be potentially medium.

A very unique juice that is well worth trying.

  • Strength: 6 mg
  • Mix Ratio: 60/40 VG/PG
  • Throat Hit: Mild-Medium
  • Vapour Production: Very good

Nipple Juice:

This juice is described by South Coast Vaper as:

A blended and balanced creamy strawberry. Get some fresh strawberries, stick them in the blender, along with single cream, and there you have it. But this is a hugely complex juice that is sensitive to temp and set ups. In an RBA at 1.0 – 1.4ohms and you get a wondrous creamy strawberry vape that is just fantastic, with the strawberry right at the top…..in an RBA at 1.5 – 1.8ohms and you get a little more of the creaminess to the strawberry, and a juice that is as smoooooooth as they come.

South Coast Vapes Nipple Juice ReviewThis is certainly quite a novel title for a juice but it is apparently a humorous reference to Suicide Bunnie’s Mother’s Milk which was the original inspiration for this mix.

From everything I have read somewhere along the way Tom went and made something truly different to Mother’s Milk despite it being the initial influence on him.

The first taste I get with this juice is a delicious strawberry with a light cream. There is definitely some form of custard in there but it is so well blended it’s not something you can just pick out. The strawberry is definitely one of the nicest strawberries I’ve tasted, a really natural tasting fresh strawberry and not all artificial.

It’s quite a rich vape but very addictive and if you are someone who enjoys a strawberry milkshake or a strawberry custard type of dessert then you will love this. It’s certainly not sickly and if you love sweet vapes then it may work well as a all day vape.

This is a juice that will have you licking your lips in delight and it is certainly my favourite juice in this range. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you purchase this one.

  • Strength: 6 mg
  • Mix Ratio: 60/40 VG/PG
  • Throat Hit: Mild
  • Vapour Production: Very good

Callicustard:

This juice is described by South Coast Vaper as:

You want perfect custard? Then you have found it here. This is “grown up” custard. Not the sickly over sweet out of a tin custard, or powdered custard, or even freshly made custard. But its an enigma…….sometimes you get a really stunning vanilla custard with hints of toffee or is it caramel. Other times you get hints of an almost savoury undertone with the custard. This could have been called “ChaosCustard” or “the enigma” as it really will get you thinking about what your vaping as no two tanks of juice are “quite” the same……at the range of between 1.3 – 1.8ohms, you get a proper “adult” custard, but sub-ohming this will really bring the toffee/caramel with hints of that savoury that will perplex and surprise to the fore….

South Coast Vapes Callicustard ReviewThis juice is a very unique custard and I haven’t tasted anything like it before. When you take the first inhale you get a toffee/nutty taste with perhaps something else in there that reminds me of cereal. Then to compliment this you get a delicious vanilla custard which lingers in the mouth.

I find this juice to be extremely different to most other custards that are out there and in many ways I find I like the extra complexity of this one more than a straightforward vanilla custard e-juice.

Vapour production is once more very good and the juice gives a mild throat hit. A really excellent flavour that is well worth trying. I think personally I enjoy it as much as the Nipple Juice so it is definitely my joint top favourite.

  • Strength: 6mg
  • Mix Ratio: 60/40 VG/PG
  • Throat Hit: Mild
  • Vapour Production: Very good

CYMore:

This juice is described by South Coast Vaper as:

A very light almost oaty(hobnob?) tones with a caramel light nutty vape (which is subtle)and almost like a snickers bar without the chocolate. Not too sweet, or heavy like a lot of“dessert”type tobacco juices
What you get with this juice is a RY4 tobacco that I have to say tastes far more pleasant than a lot of other juices that use that ingredient. The tobacco isn’t particularly strong but gives a nice background element to the nut and caramel which is far more prominent.

South Coast CYMore reviewI would say this has is a subtle good quality tobacco blended with a nut and caramel. It really is very pleasant but my own personal preference would be for the tobacco to be somewhat stronger since it tends to get a little lost in the other flavours.

This is of course purely subjective and while I have said that the tobacco should be stronger that does not mean I have not enjoyed vaping this juice and I find it certainly grows on you the more you vape it.

This particular mix might be the ideal balance for some so like all juice you really need to try it for yourselves.
As with the other juices vapour production is very good. In terms of throat hit I find this one quite mild.

  • Strength: 6 mg
  • Ratio: 60/40 VG/PG
  • Throat Hit: Mild
  • Vapour: Very good

Dark Chocachino:

This juice is described by South Coast Vaper as:

A deep multilayer dark chocolate with undertones of light cappuccino. This took many mixes to get just right. Not too sweet with a slightly bitter taste that stops this being sickly and allows the chocolate and cappuccino to really shine.
For anyone who has ever enjoyed a bar of proper plain chocolate then they will notice that right away in this particular juice. There is something of a bitterness to it which is certainly different, I think perhaps it is a touch too bitter for me but that is of course subjective. Blended into the mix is a pleasant cappuccino taste and it really is quite a good coffee taste.

South Coast Vapes Darkchocachino reviewI don’t think this one would ever be a all day vape for me but perhaps after a meal or in the evening it might be ideal.

We all know that taste buds vary wildly so perhaps this one might be perfect for you.

Vapour production is once more very good and I found the throat hit to be mild.

  • Strength: 6mg
  • Mix Ratio: 60/40 VG/PG
  • Throat Hit: Mild
  • Vapour Production: Very good

Overall:

A excellent range of juices that are very well priced. I think this is a very good range which offers some truly unique flavours and if you are looking for something new then it is definitely worth giving these a try.

I found customer service, packaging and delivery time to be excellent.

I have been vaping for four years now. I was a 20 a day smoker and a friend of mine encouraged me to give vaping a try. He gifted me with a ego/ce4 set up and some juice and to be fair I found it reasonable but not ideal so I was still also smoking. I went to my local B&M and got some good advice regarding what vaping gear would suit me, as well as finding some juice more to my liking. For a couple of months I used a Vamo V5 but I kept seeing these shiny tube mods and I wondered what they were. After some investigation I discovered they were called mechanical mods and I had to buy my own. From that point I was completely off the cigarettes and quite satisfied with my set up. I eventually moved on the rebuildable devices with my first RDA and RTA. I love vaping and I have no plans to ever stop because there are so many new flavours to discover and a vast amount of different devices with newer technologies to try. While I still own a couple of mechanical mods my preference these days is VW box mods and I really do enjoy a vape with temperature control. I also make my own e-juice as time allows.
