The Aromamizer V2 Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer is manufactured by Steam Crave, based in both the USA and the Far East.

Steam Crave have got to me one of the most innovative producers of mid range kit around, always listening to customer feedback and updating their items accordingly as they did with the recently reviewed Aromamizer RDTA.Steam Crave Aromamizer V2 RDA Review

They are one of the few manufacturers that offer interchangeable decks, as well as top caps and other accessories, for their atomisers, and their prices are budget friendly. The Aromamizer V2 top cap works with the V1, and vice versa, as the build deck is the same!

If you owned an Aromamizer V1 you can save yourself a lot of money by simply purchasing the V2 top cap, as the deck and drip tip are the same, and voila, your V1 is now a V2!

What Can We Expect From The Aromamizer V2 RDA by Steam Crave?

The Aromamizer V2 is offered in three separate configurations- the SC902-G that sports a cylindrical glass top cap, the SC902-H that sports a hexagonal stainless steel top cap and is aimed for use with box mods, and finally the SC902-R with it’s round stainless steel top cap, aimed for use with tube mods.

As the decks are all the same with these three, as well as the drip tip, you can interchange them freely! The Aromamizer V2 sports a revolutionary cyclone airflow system, for maximum flavour, spit back protection and a leak free design.

There’s a lot of people that rate this as one of the best flavour RDA’s out there, so let’s see just how good the flavour is!

Aromamizer V2 RDA Kit Contents

It comes packaged in a flip top cardboard presentation package, with a plastic viewing window whereby you can see the Aromamizer V2 itself. Inside this package is-

• Aromamizer V2 RDA
• Wide Bore drip tip with spit back protection
• 510 drip tip adaptor with spit back protection
• Screwdriver
• Spares pack with spare post screws and o-rings

Aromamizer V2 RDA Set Up

Impressively, upon inspecting the Aromamizer V2 before setting it up I couldn’t find a single speck of machine oil.

This RDA was completely clean and ready to use out of the box! The deck is a three post affair, set up for single or dual coil builds, with a shallow juice well present but a huge amount of space to build on.

My build was 9 wraps of 0.4mm Kanthal, with a 3mm ID, wicked with Muji and this easily fit with room to spare. The only trouble I had was that the post holes are small so if Claptons and fancier builds are your thing, you might run into trouble!

Airflow is adjustable, there are three airflow slots present that are fairly large and you can rotate the airflow to your liking.

If you don’t fancy using the supplied drip tip, Steam Crave have generously included a 510 drip tip adaptor so you can use your own yet still benefit from spitback protection.

All in all it’s one I would recommend to anyone, with the large amount of build space available it’s a very forgiving build that newbies and experienced re-builders alike will get on with. It took me no longer than 10 minutes to set up and achieve a really satisfying vape from!

How Does The Steam Crave Aromamizer V2 Perform?

With the top airflow and resultant cyclone airflow design, the Aromamizer V2 RDA is a flavour chasing RDA. That’s not to say it can’t produce clouds, because it definitely can produce some fairly impressive ones, but this RDA is all about the flavour.

Due to the spitback protection, it’s one for the lung hitters but the draw is a little more restricted than you would expect, despite the size of the adjustable airflow slots and the huge wide bore drip tip included.

This is by no means a bad thing, as a result of this the flavour is absolutely exceptional. I’d go as far as saying the flavour is up there with the absolute very best around. No matter what juice I have used in the Aromamizer, from complex to simple juices, the flavour results have been incredible. Some of my favourite juices I have rediscovered thanks to this incredible flavour RDA!

Thanks to the PEEK insulators used the Aromamizer V2 also handles vaping at 40w and over very well. It’s not one to use at 100w+, but at 40-60w you get a really nice warm vape from this RDA without it ever getting too hot.

My own preference is to vape using this RDA at 30-35w, as the flavour is just out of this world for me at that range! It performs exceptionally well with complex vapes, allowing different flavour notes to come to the fore, and really lets those juices shine.

Pros

• Massive build deck
• Appeals to newbies and beginners alike
• Can be used single or dual coil
• Leak free design
• Outstanding flavour
• Very easy set up
• Excellent spitback protection
• Very well made
• No machine oil present upon unboxing the RDA
• Loads of spares included
• Interchangeable with other top caps

Cons

• Draw a little restricted for cloud chasers
• Very shallow deck doesn’t hold much juice
• Small Post Holes

Final Verdict

The build deck is large, it’s easy to set up, it’s available cheaply and it’s solidly made, and one of the top flavour RDA’s available. This is definitely one of my favourite RDA’s this year, if not ever for those reasons.

If you are a flavour chaser, you need this RDA in your collection! Why? Because it is absolutely one of the very best around at producing a very flavourful vape, not only that it is very wallet friendly and even cheaper if you order direct from the manufacturer.

It’s an RDA I use every single day, and one that never lets me down time and time again.

Vaping full time since 2012, started on cigalikes for a while then curiosity got the better of me and I moved onto an vape pens, a month or two later I was seeing people walking around with these interesting shiny tubes and I thought 'I gotta get one of those'. Before I knew it a trip down to my local B&M got me my first VW mod, an Innokin SVD, paired with an iClear 30, and I was hooked. Soon after that I was jumping to VW mods both box and tube shaped, before I then made the jump to rebuilding and thus sub ohming, with my first RDA and mech mod. These days I've come back to convenience and mainly use pods, disposables and the VOOPOO Drag H40. Most importantly I am still loving vaping!
