The SX Mini MK Class & MK Pro Class Pod Kits are two new releases from the well-loved SX Mini brand.

SX Mini have pottered into the Pod Mod market in the past with the Mi Class kit which had very mixed reviews.

Will the MK Class range bring a pod kit which meets the usual SX Mini standard? Let’s have a closer look and see what they have to offer!

More Details On The SX Mini MK Class & MK Pro Class Pod Kits…

Sadly the SX Mini website is not the most informative of places. Even worse the MK Class kit is not covered at all.

The two different variants seem to have the pod as the main difference.

The MK Class has pre-filled disposable pods – again as this is missing from the SX Mini website completely I have no idea of any details of this. Also this version has a different chipset – the YiHi SX365. Only the SX Mini social media pages pay reference to this version at all.

So I am going to have to mainly look at the MK Pro Class version in this preview. Even then the details are pretty vague but I will do my best!

Firstly the device has a 700mAh internal battery which can be charged at up to a 1A charge rate. The charging port appears to be a Micro USB type located on the base of the mod.mk pro class black

Inside this version is the YiHi SX366 chipset but I cannot find any more details of this even on the YiHi website.

As mentioned above the Pro version has a refillable pod and you can replace the coils.mk pro class pod

The pod is made from PETG and will hold up to 2ml of your own e-liquid but the type and location of the fill port is not shown.

Coil wise apart from these being replaceable – you have as much of a clue as I do.

Zooming into the image on the website of the coil I think it says 0.8ohm and 12-18W? As the output of the device is not even specified I am not sure if you can adjust the output to suit the coil?mk pro class coil

Here is a similarly vague introduction video from the SX Mini YouTube channel.

There are 2 colour options to choose from: Black and Gunmetal. The video above does show two more colours a Gold and a Blue but these are not shown on the SX Mini website.
