Vampire Vape have got four tasty new additions to their vast e-liquid range, with the new Vampire Vape Dessert Collection!
Since Vampire Vape were founded in 2012, they have grown into one of the largest and most recognisable e-liquid brands in the UK.
Two of their most recognisable products are the Heisenberg and Pinkman brands, with these now having their own product lines.
There’s a lot of Vampire Vape products to choose from, across over 20 different product lines, such as the Vampire Vape Bar Salts and Fizzy Drink ranges for example!
What Can We Expect From The Vampire Vape Dessert Collection?
For a company that made a name for itself with sweet and fruity blends, this isn’t the first time that Vampire Vape have dabbled in the dessert e-liquid market, and they are renowned for being expert mixologists!
The four new e-liquids that make up the Vampire Vape Dessert Collection are Pistachio Milkshake, Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream, Caramel Latte and Caramelised Banana Pancake, giving vapers a choice of some enticing new dessert vapes.
As a vaper who primarily vapes dessert blends I am definitely here for these new e-liquids and I couldn’t wait to give them a go!
All four of these e-liquids are available in 10ml bottles, mixed to a 60/40 PG/VG ratio, with freebase nicotine strengths of 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg and 18mg available. These are also available as shortfills to add your own nicotine, and for the DIY at home mixologists you can also pick these up as concentrates.
Vampire Vape kindly sent me these four e-liquids in 18mg freebase nicotine strength, which is a lot stronger than what I usually vape, so I used my OXVA XLIM SQ Pro 2 with the 0.8ohm pod at 12W to vape these.
As always, all views are my own!
Pistachio Milkshake
They say:
“Vampire Vape Pistachio Milkshake E-Liquid delivers a creamy milkshake flavour with a nutty pistachio twist”
We say:
With this blend, I get more of the pistachio flavouring, which has a tasty nutty hit to it and it brings a dry note, which contrasts with the thick and creamy mouthfeel from the vanilla ice-cream styled milkshake flavouring.
Out of the two flavourings, pistachio definitely takes centre stage here, there seems to be quite a lot of pistachio flavouring in this blend, and the milkshake is more of a subtle compliment.
There’s some pretty strong throat hit present with the 18mg nicotine strength, which I feel is enhanced further by the dryness from the pistachio flavouring, making this an e-liquid to savour rather than chain vape continuously.
That being said, with a weaker nicotine strength I would suspect the throat hit wouldn’t be as strong.
All in all, this is a pretty decent representation of a pistachio milkshake flavour!
Caramelised Banana Pancake
They say:
“Vampire Vape Caramelised Banana Pancake is a dessert-inspired vape featuring the taste of pancakes with caramelised banana”
We say:
I found this one a little strange at the start, I was quite surprised by how sweet this was to start of, and there’s a thick maple syrup type of texture running through it from start to finish.
Banana was quite artificial tasting to me, a lot of e-liquids that contain banana flavouring taste like banana foam sweets to me and that was what I got in this blend too. It’s quite a strong flavour as well and the most dominant one in the blend.
I wasn’t getting much in the way of a flavouring that represented the pancake, I could slightly detect it in the background but it is more of a light and airy pancake texture.
Throat hit here felt lighter than the Pistachio Milkshake, which I felt had the strongest throat hit out of the four e-liquids making up this range, but it was still pretty robust at 18mg.
Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream
They say:
“Vampire Vape Raspberry Ice Cream delivers a blend of creamy vanilla ice cream with sweet raspberry swirls”
We say:
I’ll start this off by saying that this one was my favourite out of the range, and I had kind of expected it to be beforehand as I definitely have a soft spot for a raspberry ripple blend.
A few years ago a certain one was my all day vape for many months!
This one gets very close to my old all day vape, delivering a very smooth raspberry ripple blend that hits all the right notes and definitely lives up to the description provided by Vampire Vape.
There’s a delicious vanilla ice cream flavouring that tastes a bit like Madagascan vanilla to me, there’s a rich vanilla bean note present and this is wrapped up in a cloud of creaminess.
A sweet and sharp raspberry runs through the ice cream flavouring, tasting like thick raspberry syrup- exactly how it should do in a raspberry ripple ice cream e-liquid!
A much lighter throat hit is present in this mix too making this an easy going vape even at high nicotine levels.
Caramel Latte
They say:
“Vampire Vape Caramel Latte delivers a smooth coffee flavour with a sweet caramel twist”
We say:
If you like a strong latte, this will definitely be your jam!
The coffee flavouring is very prominent, I get a rich and robust coffee bean flavour, which also elevates the strength of the throat hit in this blend making it quite noticeable.
There’s quite a thick creaminess to this too, it is almost ice-cream like in texture, but it goes quite well with the coffee and helps to tone down the strength of the coffee flavouring.
I was quite surprised that the caramel flavouring was as strong as it was, it is quite thick and syrupy, and there’s a strong note of sweetener too.
Final Review Verdict
I’m always happy to see new dessert e-liquids being released, especially as the market is presently flooded with near identical fruity disposable-styled bar salt e-liquid, it’s great to see one of the ‘big brands’ dropping something different.
I did find the throat hit to be a little punchy with all four of these e-liquids but that is probably due to the 60/40 PG/VG blend combined with the 18mg freebase nicotine, which is somewhat stronger than the usual 6mg freebase nicotine that I am used to vaping!
That being said, these dessert e-liquids have been expertly blended to deliver blends that are pretty true to the descriptions, and they are tasty enough to please even the most discerning dessert e-liquid vaper.
I did enjoy them that much that I am actually going to be purchasing these, though at a lower nicotine strength this time so that I can enjoy them without an 18mg nicotine head rush!
Many thanks to Vampire Vape for sending the Vampire Vape Dessert Collection e-liquids in for review! These are available for £3.99 for a 10ml bottle, or you can pick these up as part of their 4 for £12 mix and match multibuy offer!
Vampire Vape have also made these available as shortfills and concentrates, both of which can be purchased directly from their website.
