The Vandy Vape Jackaroo 18650 Pod kit is the newest release in the popular Jackaroo range.
The Jackaroo range have so far included the original single battery Jackaroo mod to the Dual Jackaroo mod, the Jackaroo pod kit and the internal battery Jackaroo Mini.
What To Expect From The Vandy Vape Jackaroo 18650 Pod…
The Jackaroo range gained a great reputation for being rugged devices.
And the Jackaroo 18650 Pod is no exception – being IP67 rated Waterproof, Shock Proof and Dust Proof.
If you are thinking we have already seen a Jackaroo pod kit – you would be right! However that version had a 2000mAh internal battery. This time – as the name suggests – the new version uses a 18650 removable battery.
With the main difference being out of the way, the only other upgrade I notice is that the charging rate via the USB Type C port is now 2A (despite the fact the graphic below says “1A” – the specifications do state 2A).
This has a variable wattage output and you can select from 5 to 70W and a screen displays all of your vaping data.
The pod uses the existing removable VVC coils – it does not state which coils are included in the kit – only the fact you get 2 of them!
There are 5 Mesh coils to choose from: VVC-15 (0.15ohm), VVC-30 (0.3ohm), VVC-60 (0.6ohm), VVC-90 (0.9ohm) and VVC-120 (1.2ohm). As you can see there is quite a range of resistances to suit MTL, RDL and DTL vapers!
If a device promises to satisfy different vaping styles then it will need a method of airflow adjustment! This is provided by a rotating ring located just below the mouthpiece. Also there are two drip tips (mouthpieces) supplied to suit MTL and DTL vaping.
A top fill port allows for easy filling with up to 4.7ml of your own e-liquid. I have not seen a 2ml TPD version mentioned as yet.
There are 6 colours to choose from: Obsidian Black, Carbon Fibre Black, Starry Blue, Gilding, Fantasy Violet and Smoke-ink Ash.

The pod is the wrong way around this time🤦♂️
The mouthpiece and coil should be at the other end of the pod, like it was on the V1 Jackaroo Pod Kit.
Now, if you hold the mod with the fire button pointing away from you, making use of the gun style hand grip – which vandy vape market as a selling point – every time you tip the device to vape it all the liquid will run away from the coil instead of towards it! D’oh
