The Brunhilde MTL RTA By Vapefly Previewed
The Vapefly Brunhilde MTL RTA is the MTL version of the popular Vapefly Brunhilde RTA.
What is the difference between this and the original version? Well the letters “MTL” are the big clue!
The original Brunhilde RTA is for dual coils at low resistance for DTL vapers.
DTL means “Direct to lung” and is a higher power form of vaping for thicker e-liquid and lower nicotine strengths.
This version is for MTL or “Mouth to lung” vapers who use a vaping technique similar to inhaling on a cigarette. MTL vapers prefer a more restricted airflow, use higher resistance coils and generally higher nicotine strength or Nic Salt E-liquid.
We tell you more in our guide to MTL and DTL vaping styles!
Anyway to make the Brunhilde suitable for MTL vapers the deck now only takes a single coil as you will be wanting a higher resistance coil.
Also in order to tailor the airflow more precisely little jets or “Airflow inserts” are used to restrict the air coming in and flowing under the coil.
To get the e-liquid from the chamber at the base of the tank up to the deck the same stainless steel wire wicking system is used. You still use standard cotton wicking inside the coil but the stainless steel wires allow the liquid chamber to be larger and further away from the deck.
Vapefly also have increased the size of the filling port in the side of the tank to enable chubby bottles to be used.
Here is a short preview video from Vapefly to introduce the Brunhilde MTL RTA.
