Ok so we have a new pod mod here – the Voopoo Vinci Air. Yep it looks familiar…
Do we really need another version? What does the Air have to offer that the rest of the range doesn’t?
What Is New On The Voopoo Vinci Air?
Well straight off – very little. In fact the Vinci Air has even less features than the rest of the range.
I am assuming this is the “budget” version of the Vinci in a smaller body? Considering the rest of the Vinci range are not exactly purse burstingly expensive I have no idea why this device has been released?
To make the Vinci Air smaller in size (20% lighter and 30% thinner) the battery capacity is only 900mAh.
There is a screen on the device but it does look smaller and simpler than the other Vinci models. Sadly the screen size and spec is not stated.
Output wise this has a variable wattage output from 5-30W and controlling all of this is the GENE.AI chipset.
The chip will record your puff counts – I am not sure if this is downloadable as in the other Vinci models. Also the device will detect the coil installed and not allow you to adjust the power over the maximum limit of that coil.
To fire the device you can use the fire button or the draw activation feature.
Like with the previous models rotating the pod will give you two different airflow options.
I am not sure if the pod is compatible with the rest of the Vinci range – it looks smaller to me. The capacity is stated as 4ml (or 2ml for TPD regulated areas) and it is refillable via the side fill port.
Voopoo say that the magnet has been upgraded which secures the tank into the device.
The coil is replaceable and the Air is compatible with the PnP range of coils and the VM4 Mesh 0.6ohm and R2 1ohm coils are included in the kit.
There are 7 colours to choose from: Space Grey (A), Classic Red (B), Carbon Fibre (C), Aurora Blue (D), Camouflage (E), Aurora (F) and Classic Blue (G).
