Try and hold your anger in check whilst you watch this video in which the WHO rips into vaping yet again.

I’ve called it ‘shocking’ and it really is – especially the level of blind ignorance shown from a member of the World Health Organisation’s Tobacco Control Unit.

who shocking vaping interview

He is Dr Vinayak Mohan Prasad and is the Programme Manager, of the WHO Tobacco Free Initiative (TFI).

Before I get into the position Prasad is taking and why – here’s the video in which he quite literally slams e-cigarettes as:

  • Un-proven as a quit smoking aid
  • Calls the UK’s stance on e-cigarettes nothing more than an ‘experiment’
  • Believes that deaths from EVALI were caused by nicotine based e-cigarettes
  • Responsible for the teen vape epidemic and says 30% of all children vape!
  • ALL e-cigs are the work of Big Tobacco and nicotine producers to hook kids
  • Praises the 30 countries that have banned vaping
  • Plus more…

It really is a quite extraordinary interview by journalist David Nazar and proves beyond doubt the World Health Organization is not only biased – but nothing more than mouthpieces for the anti-vaping billionaires club of Bill Gates and Michael Bloomfield et al.

They really are out of touch and that’s me being kind – WOW just WOW!

WHO Rips Into Vaping – E-cigarettes Should Not Be On the Market!

As you can see, the WHO wants nothing more than a global ban on e-cigarettes as Prasad says in the exclusive interview:

It’s quite obvious why they’ve [countries] banned it.

Because we don’t know the long term effects of these products.

We do not know for sure how it’s helping people quit…

If at all…

Then why should they be allowed to be introduced into the market?

Sure they play lip service to ‘research’.

But ignore any positive research about the health benefits of e-cigarettes and refuse categorically to engage in meaningful discussions with the industry or science!

And don’t forget they have placed the New Nicotine Alliance on the same black-list as Big Tobacco and arms dealers and refuse to even acknowledge them – yes really!

david nazar

Journalist David Nazar says he has even more evidence ready to come out and says on Twitter he has:

…identified the criminal in the demonization & vilifying of #vapingharmreduction #vapingsaveslives.

It took lots of research and the evidence is clear

I very much look forward to seeing that 🙂

WHO Rips Into Vaping – The Billionaires Anti-Vaping Club

Dr Prasad joined the WHO in 2009 to manage the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation funded tobacco control project in Africa.

Back in 2008 the Gates Foundation cautiously welcomed vaping as a harm reduction tool calling for more research as they stated in its 2008 so called Goalkeeper’s report:

E-cigarettes and other alternative tobacco produces are not harmless, but they could be less devastating.

Researchers need to better understand whether e-cigarettes could lower smoking rates without addicting youth.

From what I can gather, neither the Gates Foundation nor the World Health Organization has conducted or funded any research into e-cigarettes.

However and as we know, both the Gates’ and Bloomberg continue to pour cash into any WHO anti-tobacco scheme they see fit – ignoring the facts that vaping does indeed save lives.

who

Meanwhile, the WHO, and Bloomberg in particular continue to snipe from the sidelines with the WHO saying back in February this year:

…the evidence is clear that the aerosols of the majority of ENDS contain toxic chemicals, including nicotine and substances that can cause cancer.

ENDS on their own are associated with increased risk of cardiovascular diseases and lung disorders and adverse effects on the development of the fetus during pregnancy.

ENDS are undoubtedly harmful, should be strictly regulated, and, most importantly, must be kept away from children.

Nicotine is highly addictive and found in most e-cigarettes.

Both tobacco products and e-cigarettes pose risks to health and the safest approach is not to consume either.

As I’ve been saying for years, the WHO NEEDS vaping to be classed as ‘dangerous’ given it could see the vast majority of the world’s smokers making the switch.

And given the WHO loves it’s funding from these billionaires and countries where vaping is banned – they have a vested interest and of course a financial motive, for keeping smoking rates up and vaping rates down.

If e-cigarettes make a massive dent in the number of global smokers this lucrative cash stream would dry up and the WHO would of course become irrelevant.

Think that’s me being a conspiracy theorist?

WHO Finances Show More Spent On Travel Than Medicines

Latest reports looking into its finances reveals the WHO spend TWICE as much on travel than it does medical supplies…

That’s well over $200 million per year on junkets!

And trust me – when they hold these junkets, oops I mean ‘health conferences’ – they’re hardly ever in shall we say ‘less desirable venues

Back in 2016 the UK newspaper the Guardian threw the spotlight on the WHO’s lavish spending.

It’s report showed WHO delegates attending a ‘conference’ in Delhi India were put up in ultra-comfort in an exclusive hotel and taken to the Taj Mahal for an expensive day-trip!

who anti tobacco junkets cost millions of pounds per year

The theme of that ‘conference’ was to campaign against tobacco use in – wait for it – “low and middle income countries” – whilst spending the amount that could fund important medical programmes in very many small countries.

At that conference journalists were forbidden to enter and the total cost was placed at an eye-watering £15 million – slightly more than the previous year where a similar event in Moscow cost a mere £14 million!

Yes that’s pounds and NOT dollars.

Anyway, as I said I’ve been banging on about the WHO for years now and slowly the penny is dropping and not just about its stance on e-cigarettes.

The bloated organization has hardly shown itself to be the guardian of the world’s health during this COVID-19 pandemic.

They can’t even leave e-cigarettes alone during these trying times, even though it’s now proven vaping and nicotine if anything helps against contracting and getting dangerous complications from the virus.

The WHO still clings onto the mantra that vaping is bad…bloody idiots.

So it’s hardly surprising a petition calling for its boss, ‘Dr’ Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus – to resign, has reached over 1million signatures!

If the WHO has fallen way short during this global pandemic which may have cost hundreds of thousands of lives, its continued anti-vaping stance could see the number of people dying from tobacco related diseases world wide run to the billions.

And that is disgusting.

Shame on them and shame on those billionaires and Governments funding what is quite literally genocide.

So what are your thoughts?

As the WHO rips into vaping yet again – has it lost the plot?

Is it relevant anymore?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

I have simpler vape tastes these days - I never leave home without a Caliburn G, a Vaporesso Luxe 40 or Innokin EQ FLTR and a CBD vape pen or bottle of CBD drops in my rucksack...or indeed an Aspire Nautilus Prime X in my pocket... At home I'll be using various mods topped with the GeekVape Zeus X RTA or the Signature Mods Mono SQ topped with the Augvape BTFC RDA... I'm a former journalist and now a writer and sometimes author... I'm ex Army - adore dogs and never happier than hiking over the hills or with a good book on a beach.

  1. These so called do gooder’s have no life and want to inflict their miserable existence on those of us that found a way to get off cigarettes!
Banning flavours out right is ridiculous, especially the fruit flavours that come from fruit concentrate and food preservatives (E, numbers) Also what happened to findings from a few years ago when they found that fruit flavoured vape juice was 95% safer than smoking?
These high flying people need to be introduced to a big stick, the stick that cures stupidity might also cure ignorance!
I smoked heavy for over 30 years and the last 8 years of vaping. Had a chest xray last December and the results came back that my lungs are as clean and healthy as a healthy non-smoker……….. The hospital only knew I was an ex smoker and couldn’t tell I vaped.

  2. You mean Mike Bloomberg, and not Bloomfield? lol. Yeah, this is pretty disturbing. Just when you thought conservatives couldn’t be authoritarian enough, Democrats come in and say “hold my beer”.

  3. Just another shot in the foot for the WHO! It proves they are money grabbers so it must have really got them in a spin when Mr Trump ceased donations over the handling of covid19, talk about fiction over fact just to fuel their lifestyles. It’s about time they were gone they have lost all credibility. Let me vape in peace, it helped my health enourmously!

  4. Pretty sure the WHO has conducted some research. They’re quite openly pitching teen experimentation against flavours. So they must be highly aware where the cessation efficacy of e-cigs over NRT originates from. It’s unlikely that the pharma industry hadn’t looked into that, or wouldn’t publish the findings if the psychological aspect on quitting was insignificant. I believe that’s the main reason the pharma/tobacco-export lobby keeps downplaying it with derogatory terms like “ENDS”.

  5. Hi,
big fan from Poland here 🙂 Thanks a lot for all of these vape news you making!
About WHO – I’m following this pathetic soap opera from the beginning @ecigclick and IMO it’s quite simple – for all these VIP “World Health Problems” Party, they need a lot LOT LOOOOOT of money, as we can see. Where the money comes from ? From donors of course, but the money comes with a condition – you tell the world as WHO what we tell you to. Someone with big wallet hates vaping i suppose – we know one guy, don’t we ? Maybe it’s Mr. B that’s behind all of this.
    Cheers from Poland!

  6. I’ll admit, I’m biased – the second I saw the guy, before he even opened his mouth I had the impression of sloth and ignorance. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but then he had to go and open his mouth, dispelling all doubt.

We’ve seen this sort of ‘other peoples problem’ ignorance play out countless times with everything from mental health issues to addiction. It is not a good look for someone from world health to not have even a shred of empathy or even the decency to stand on firm facts.

Confusing use with addiction… unforgivable. Banning something will not magically produce long term results, in fact if you look at cannabis and the net effect of banning it – not only did it stay in circulation, but it curtailed studying it’s possible benefits.

Anyway, preaching to the choir here most likely. I just hope this ignorant, uninformed and small minded attitude isn’t uniform in that agency… though sadly I suspect it is.

    • Agreed and from what I can gather this kind of ‘thinking’ is prevalent at the WHO – thanks for comment mate 🙂
