Z Fuel e-liquid is from the creators of ZAP! a Manchester based brand that began with a very basic vape store.

After striking a chord with their double award winning best fruit flavour, Melonade they’ve been going from strength to strength and are currently within the top five e-liquid sellers both here and across Europe and Asia.Z Fuel E Liquid review from ZAP! Juice

With a multi international award winning E Liquid brand, ZAP! are here and they want to empower and inspire you not just with their juice range but with any area of self improvement. Just how they believe their influence is enough to make you run a marathon or take up rock climbing is anyone’s guess but if ZAP! believe it, you better believe it..

While ZAP! live in the hopes of inspiring you, it’s my duty to merely inform you. Of how good or bad the Z Fuel e-liquid range is.

So don’t worry, I won’t be asking you to take up nude skydiving or mud wrestling a twelve foot, thirty five stone gorilla from outer Mongolia.

While ZAP! want to empower you, they have simply entrusted me to share my experiences of a juice line infused with caffeine.

So do worry! I could start hyper-writing at any moment.

What Can We Expect From The Z Fuel Liquid Range?

The Z Fuel juice range is made up of four distinct energy drink influenced profiles and are presented as 50ml shortfill bottles. Thi of course allows you the option of including a 10ml 18mg nic shot for the intention of a 3mg nicotine fix once mixed to a final volume of 60ml.

ZAP! are one of the very few e-liquid manufacturers that seem to have gone to the double effort of completely heat sealing their bottles against any form of tampering. This is highly commendable and something I feel should be seen more often.

Their logo is 100% original and works perfectly against the four bold and brash colour schemes applied to each bottle. It’s clearly stated that each one contains 300mg of caffeine working out at 6mg per ml.

Before I begin I would like to thank Zap! Juice for supplying the Z Fuel range, free of charge, for the purposes of the review. As usual this will have no influence over my final opinion. I’m not here to “wing” it!

The Goforvape Eternal RDA was employed for testing purposes with dual wotofo fused clapton coils (2.5mm inner diameter) ohming in at 0.25 and powered up to 60w.

Zap! had also very kindly provided their own 10ml 18mg nic salt shots so these were also used to assist in the overall vape experience.

01 OG

Z Fuel 01 OG E LIQUID review

ZAP! says:

“Engage your day with the help from our original flavour. OG brings an extreme sensation to your everyday vape”.

I say:

I received a very strong smell from the tip of the bottle with OG and the taste test was, shall we say, extreme!

Bursting with flavour for sure but thankfully I’m vaping as opposed to drinking because this was surely giving my tongue wings!

Anyone familiar with Red Bull will know how notoriously difficult it is to describe as a flavour. (Does anyone else pick out cherry?). So with this in mind I set off to my local beverage parlour (corner shop) to purchase the drink equivalent and draw some comparisons.

Wow! Zap! have emulated the experience from the can and put it into a bottle, right down to the deftest touch of cooling agent.

If there is any difference to take stock of it’s in the dumbing down of the sweetness which is a good thing and prevents an overall sickly taste often associated with energy drinks in my opinion.

I’m still left with a pleasant sweet afternote on the taste buds and have to write that I’m actually quite addicted to OG which I’m sure is the intention. A very impressive job!

02 Super Acai

Z Fuel 02 Super Acai review

Zap! says:

“Upgrade your liquid to Super Acai for a fast and sweet ride. Super Acai brings a new drive to your day with 300mg of caffeine to keep you rolling”.

I say:

In case like me, you were wondering just how to pronounce acai it’s Ah-Sigh-yee. These berries are harvested from palm trees and grow to around the same size as a grape and are purple/gold in colour. We learn something new every review!

The faintest hint of raspberry becomes much more prevalent on the taste test being very strong and sweet but there’s also something else lurking within.

The inhale gives a strong blast of cooling agent to help mimic a drink profile followed by a very smooth exhale no doubt courtesy of the added nic salt.

The raspberry is as subtle as it is sweet and punctures through the cocoa bean or mild and grainy chocolate texture that plays an integral part of Super Acai. Yet it never interferes with what is a borderline tropical vape and certainly refreshes thanks to the cool blast that lingers on the lips long after the finale exhale.

If you’re looking for something off the beaten path you won’t go far wrong with Super Acai for both flavour and originality. As a drink profile it works very well indeed.

03 – Citron Freeze

Z Fuel 03 CITRON FREEZE e juice review

Zap! says:

“This coolant brings systems back online with a strong refreshing sour ice blast”.

I say:

Smelling the bottle while adding the salt nic I couldn’t help but pick up a fresh lemon zest. The taste test suggested more of a fruit candy flavour with a high degree of cooling agent thrown in for good measure.

Nothing however prepared me for the intense throat hit I experienced during the inhale! Zap! have gone all out with the coolada content with Citron Freeze and I’m happy to report, works very much in their favour!

The inclusion of fresh squeezed lemon and orange juice is an absolute delight. Just how Zap! have managed to produce such authenticity with this clever combination of fruits is anyone’s guess but the two bounce off the taste buds in such a mouthwatering manner I’m hard pressed to think of another drink profile that’s had the same effect on me.

The exhale remains as smooth as ever which really helps with the overall enjoyment of the vape and there are occasional hints of grapefruit as a back note bringing together one of the most refreshing eliquid profiles I’ve tried.

As a drink profile it certainly stands up there with the best on offer and is the perfect accompany to those long, hot Summer days thanks partially to that ramped up cold, icy blast of coolada.

I’m not even the biggest fan of oranges and lemons but I can identify an average ejuice from a great one and if ever there was a way of doing it correctly, it’s the Zap! way.

04 – Pink Punch

Z Fuel 04 Pink Punch review

Zap! says:

“Looking for an adrenaline rush? Try our Pink Punch, with enough punch to keep you on your toes”.

I say:

The only aroma received from the open bottle was that of pineapple and a very strong pineapple at that!

Guava hits the tongue first on the taste test. More on that shortly.

Pink Punch is the only profile in the range where Zap! appear to have omitted any cooling agent but this takes nothing away from the sheer level of flavour present during the vape itself.

The initial flavours to hit home are orange and pineapple in equal measure and as with Citron Freeze, that finely tuned balancing act is achieved to damn near perfection!

However, at the height of the exhale guava kicks in and somehow manages to fracture my expectations by dampening down and softening the impact of what I was assuming to be another surefire winner for Zap!

It happens during every exhale so that rules out funky cotton, coils or power levels.

The level of sweetness is also through the roof with Pink Punch and leaves that “sugar lips” syndrome you’ll either love or loathe. I personally enjoy it to the sacrifice of my poor Wotofo coils..

I’m afraid I’m unable to see passed that weird aftertaste created by the presence of guava on the exhale and takes some of the shine off an otherwise top notch quartet of flavour profiles.

Final Review Verdict

I’ve got to hand it to Zap! They’ve nailed the art of replicating authentic fruit flavours within their Z Fuel vape juice quartet.

Each profile is completely unique, something I really appreciate and the concentrate levels have been pitched to the correct balance as demonstrated especially with Citron freeze and Pink Punch.

The cooling agents have worked effectively because Zap! have steered away from cramming too many flavour notes into the final product, in turn allowing everything to knit together and contributing to a very satisfying overall vape experience.

Summing up the cloud production is simple. Thick, dense, throaty and highly satisfying for a 70VG/30PG ratio when tested on my choice of RDA.

I feel a lot of time and effort has gone into creating the Z Fuel e liquid range but what about the one ingredient you’re probably wanting to know more about..? Caffeine.

Apparently there is an average 95mg of caffeine in your average cup of coffee. Enough, usually to help stimulate us into life first thing in the morning.

Zap! tell us that there are 6mg of caffeine to every 1 ml of their Z Fuel range. I’m here to tell you that I noticed no physical differences other than a slight head rush that I’m going to put down to the nic salts at the power level I employed. The effect lasted seconds before passing.

Also, Caffeine has a soapy, bitter taste of its own. Not once did it present itself during the testing period. So is this a case of vape and mirrors? Who can really say? We all respond uniquely to various stimulants.

Some suggest caffeine infused e-liquids are just a gimmick but what I will say to conclude is that the juices themselves were pretty damn special and in the final scheme of things, is all that matters.

Have you tried the Z Fuel e liquid range? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

z-fuel-e-liquid-reviewDefinitely a juice range that springs to life when vaped and surely reason enough to conclude that Zap! juice have succeeded in bringing together four unique energy drink e-liquids. The addition of caffeine is not essential but may act as a placebo for some.
