Smok RHA 220W Preview – RHA = Re – Hashed – Alien ?

The Smok RHA 220W kit is a new (yes it is new) kit which gives a huge sense of “Deja Vu”…

I can only assume the “RHA” in the name stands for “Re – Hashed – Alien” as apart from the rainbow 7-Colour version the rest look exactly the same as the old Smok Alien Kit.

Smok are often accused of just updating old kits all the time and sadly with the RHA 220W kit – they have not done themselves any favours.

So what does this kit have to offer?

You get a RHA 220W mod which uses 2×18650 batteries which are not supplied. The mod can output up to 220W using Variable wattage and Temperature control modes.

The front mounted OLED screen has a very detailed display and you can also get screen protectors to try and keep it pristine.

In the kit is the TFV8 Baby tank – which isn’t new at all – in fact there is a TFV8 Baby V2 tank in the Species kit – so this is another “retro” touch?

There are 5 colours to choose from – Black/Red, Black/Gun Metal, Prism Chrome/Black, Black/Gold and 7-Colour/Black.

Sooo… Yeah…

I am a bit lost for words here to be honest.

There are a lot of people who loved the original Alien mods and some of them have lasted longer than more modern Smok kits.

I don’t know the reasoning behind this kit at all, other than to introduce a Rainbow version?
