The Luxem Mod By Ambition Mods Previewed
The Ambition Mods Luxem Mod is a handy sized semi-mech mod from the people who brought us the lovely Gate RTA.
The Luxem mod is a convertible mod which can use a single 18350 or 18650 battery. In 18350 mode you use the single short tube. To use with a 18650 battery you install the extension tube supplied in the kit.
This is a semi-mechanical mod meaning whilst it has no screen or adjustments like a lot of regulated mods – it does have some circuitry so therefore isn’t a totally mechanical mod.
The circuitry is provided by the MOSFET chip which lives below the top cap, this regulates the output and provides protections from short circuits, over voltage, low resistance, incorrect polarity and extended firing.
The chip also gives a 3 click on and off operation plus a sleep mode.
On the top of the device the 510 connection is sunken into the face – this is so your atomiser will sit inside the mod body slightly to get rid of any ugly gaps and give a nice finish to the whole kit.
You install your atomiser or tank on the top of the device and if using a 22mm tank you simply screw this onto the 510 connection at the top. If using an 18mm tank there is a beauty ring to make sure that the tank base still stays hidden behind the top of the mod.
The switch is located on the bar on the side of the mod body on the main 18350 section.
There is only the Stainless Steel version available.

I have seen a few of these style of mods becoming popular now such as the Cthulhu Tube mod. I did think initially the 18350 battery would be a bit of a nightmare but if using with a really low power Mouth to Lung (MTL) tank this should give a decent performance.
