glas badge collectionIntroduction – The Badge Series By Glas Vapor

Glas Vapor is a California Based vaping brand that’s all about top of the range, premium devices and ejuice…something I became aware of when I first sampled their more affordable, Basix series of eliquids, every one of which I thoroughly enjoyed! You can check out my full Glas Basix review here.

The brand started out just making mech mods…but maybe ‘just’ isn’t the right word for Glas. No…these guys went all out, with aerospace engineers and watchmakers to craft a high-end range of mechs, including the Titanium, Signature and the beautiful Glas Solari.

I waiting for many moons for these eliquids, no fault of Glas’, rather that of my country’s rather infuriating customs services. I thought I’d never get them but lo and behold, here they are and every single one of them worth the wait, I’m so excited to bring you this review of the Glas Badge e-liquid Collection!

What I Taste

MMMM. Now, if you fancy a fresh basked doughnut but, like me, find the actual sweetness just a little overwhelming and the guilt too much to bear then this is for you.

While the advertised flavour profile is pretty straightforward and the flavour not overpowering but actually very well balanced, the Madagascan vanilla lends a spicy edge which you just wouldn’t get with normal vanilla.

Imagine a fresh doughnut with a light cinnamon, nutmeg and warm spice powdering, mixed in with a touch of castor sugar but not too much.

On inhale I get a homogenous doughnut taste, homogenous but very authentic, as I exhale that song separates into notes of butter and sugar on the tongue, with a warm spice in the nose.

The vapour production is exceptionally full and heavy, with balanced flavour and a dessert feel without excessive sugar.

What I Taste

Now, this is Glas’ take on strawberry milkshake but what they’ve achieved is something really incredible and really difficult to describe.

Half of my brain is saying strawberries and cream, while the other half is tasting an awesome strawberry milkshake.

Now, usually a milkshake flavouring has a slightly artificial edge while strawberries and cream will be more authentic and natural, this is mostly natural, with just a hint of that milkshake fakeness…but not in a bad way at all.

I get a beautiful fragrance of real and artificial strawberry through both inhale and exhale with something akin to condensed milk on the tongue, but as with all of Glas’ e-liquids, not too sweet.

Massive, full vapour production with well balanced noted and an all-day-able sweetness.

What I Taste

Oh, My, God. This juice is near orgasmic. I literally love it when I get spitback while using this juice because it is [email protected]#$ing delicious.

It tastes for all the world like your eating the most delicious, fresh, slightly warm cake, rich with vanilla and soaked in a delicious drizzle of syrup.

Now, where Glas says lemon, I actually taste the slightest hints of orange, which for me is even better.

I’m not sure how they do this but the guys at Glas know their stuff.

Pure, fresh , warm, vanilla cake with that soft spice that comes from the Madagascan vanilla, then soft citrus on the nose with a light syrup on the tongue on the exhale.

Once again, the fullest vapour with perfect balance and a sugar feel that’s light enough to vape all day.

  • Saltwater Taffy
  • Strawberry Bubblegum
  • Kiwi

What I Taste

Without a doubt one of the most unique flavours in Glas’ stellar repertoire and a truly refreshing one too.

I’m not usually a big fan of watermelon flavoured things but in O.F.T. They’ve taken the edge of really balanced out that watermelon flavour nicely.

Saltwater taffy, which sounds particularly unappetizing, is an American ‘toffee’ which got its name when a candy store owners stock of the chewy sweet was ‘salt-water’ flooded during a storm in Atlantic City in the 1800s. Needless to say, it doesn’t actually taste like salt water.

So what this means is…you have a lovely light toffee flavour, with undertones of bubblegum that translates into a recognizable watermelon bubble gum on the nose during exhale that slowly turns to strawberry.

Exotic kiwi fruit finish in the nose.

Great cloud, very refreshing with a good balance and medium sweetness, an absolute killer

  • Citrus fruits
  • Cornflake cereal
  • Vanilla Macaroon
  • Sweet cream
  • Condensed Milk

What I Taste

Winner in the cereal category at Eurovape Expo 2017, this is one of the most sophisticated and delicious cereal flavours I’ve ever tasted.

Now, I’m not a big fan of cornflakes but luckily I don’t taste cornflakes here and instead of tasting citrus fruits and cornflakes what I’m tasting is delicious fruit loops, which I absolutely love.

If you’ve ever tried BVLK’s UniLoop (one of my favourite flavours ever), this is a very similar cereal flavour.

A stunning mix of fruit loops flavour on the nose and during inhale, with soft condensed milk and a lingering creaminess on the exhale.

Vanilla macaroon vibes are most prevalent when you actually have a lungful and you start to exhale, so at the height of the flavour experience, there’s a really sophisticated edge to the cereal flavour you know and love.

Massive, tasty vapour with a perfect balance of flavour notes and sweetness, an outstanding juice.

Advertised Notes

  • Pink Lemonade
  • Guava
  • Fresh Berries

What I Taste

While this, along with OFT, is one of the Badge Collection’s fruitiest offerings, it is actually also one of the sweetest…not overpoweringly sweet though…but definitely sweeter than the dessert flavours.

This is a complex fruit blend with a delicious balance of guava and pink lemonade on the inhale.

I get sweet berries and a touch of ginger and honey on the tongue during exhale with light lavender, barely discernable, and tropical fruit on the nose.

Once again, full, flavoursome vapour with excellent flavour balance and, as mentioned, a little more sweetness than the other flavours.

Final Review Verdict

Glas Vapor have delivered yet another stellar series with their badge collection and, while the Basix range offered delicious takes on all-day-vape favourites, they were definitely a little less complex than these offerings.

Wonderfully balanced, full vapour juices that are never too sweet nor in anyway overpowering but never too subtle either.

These flavours would definitely be beautiful all-day vapes but only if you can afford it, for me…they are being kept under lock and key, only to be enjoyed by myself and if anyone wants a hit, I’m sorry but the answer is NO…that’s my special juice. Send me more?!

Greetings Vapers! I’m a 34 year old writer, editor and massive vaping enthusiast (since 2015) based in the beautiful Helderberg region in South Africa. My passion for vaping has steadily grown since I started vaping in earnest (as has my scorn for smoking). See, I tried vaping years before that but returned to cancer sticks after a bad experience (PG sensitivity). When I finally got back on the vaping train I decided to make it my business to educate beginners and vapers in general, so that they don’t jump to the conclusions that I did. I visualise a world without cigarettes…not just for health reasons: I’m tired of picking thousands of cigarette butts up off my lawn every morning, tossed over the wall by passers by. I can’t believe I used to be one of those people!
