The Harmony Tempo CBD pod kit looks like a plethora of other pods out there, so does this one deliver a decent CBD based vape?
That’s something we shall of course be looking at in this CBD pod kit review.
As a bit of a bonus I was also sent 2 exciting new Harmony CBD based e-liquid flavours, which Ive added to the original Harmony CBD vape juice review.
And, for good measure, a couple of bottles of Harmony CBD oral drops which I’m very intrigued to try – read that review a little later on this week.
They also kindly popped in snap back cap and a couple of CBD lollipops – I shall enjoying sucking on the latter – but I look a right prat in caps – but thank you anyway 🙂
What Is CBD?
I’ve written about CBD often and have a couple of articles I shall link to, including covering some of the Best CBD Vape Oil / E Liquids For 2020.
In a nutshell CBD is what’s left when the ingredient that gets cannabis users high is removed.
CBD will NOT get you high and despite the medical profession refusing to accept it as beneficial to health, many users swear by it.
The health professionals are slowly coming around to users way of thinking so it’s only a matter of time before it’s accepted globally.
BTW whilst CBD is legal for use here in the UK – please check your local laws 🙂

Harmony Tempo CBD Pod Kit – Quick Start
Like most pod mods and kits out there, the Harmony Tempo CBD pod kit is as easy as it gets to use.
Harmony’s own guide is simple:
- Gently pull the pod out of the battery and open the silicone door at the bottom. Do not pull and detach the silicone plug.
- Take your favorite Harmony CBD e-liquid and push it into the refilling port.
- Fill the pod. Don’t overfill it.
- Wait 5 minutes after filling the pod to prime.
- Vape and Enjoy!
As for charging the Harmony Tempo CBD pod kit:
- Low battery device will flash 10 times
- Once fully recharged LED will go out
Harmony Tempo CBD Pod Kit – Key Features
The Harmony Tempo CBD pod kit has a tiny 320mAH internal battery – however you really shouldn’t vape on CBD as much as you do regular vape juice, so this is perfectly acceptable.

The pods can be refilled and Harmony says up to 4 times – so that’s a bonus!
They have a 0.7ml capacity and contain 222mg CBD equating to “74mg CBD (10%) for up to 200 puffs“.
There’s an option to choose which flavours come with the starter kit including a selection of Cannabis Originals and Classics.
I received the one I’m guessing is the Cannabis Classics containing: OG Kush – Mango Kush – Kiwi Skunk and Super Lemon Haze. I’ve reviewed those flavours in the past and will of course see if they taste as good through the pod system.
Filled pods can also be bought separately, and for this review I was sent the packet containing: Wild Strawberry – Moroccan Mint and Pink Lemonade.
And to add to the simplicity – it’s draw activated so no need for a fire button.
OK all straightforward enough – and I’ll do a quick review of the new Harmony CBD vape juice flavours in a wee while.
Design and Build Quality
I seem to say it quite often, but there’s not a lot you can do with a pen style pod kit.
However, the Harmony Tempo CBD pod kit looks great but I can’t get over just how tiny this is!
When I say tiny – I mean look at the size! Other chewing gum is available BTW 😉
I like the fact the design is flattened so it’s not about to commit hari kari by rolling off your desk any time soon.
The pods are a little tight to fit, but once in they’re going nowhere, and helps the batteries hold on.
There’s a very tasteful Harmony logo and that’s about it – refreshingly clean.
It does only appear to be available in black right now – other colours would certainly make it jump out more and not get lost in the darkness of your bag.
The pods are slightly dark, but not enough that you can’t see your CBD vape juice level by holding it up to the light.
So overall, it’s simply designed, sleek and stealthy and looks pretty good.
How Does the Harmony Tempo CBD Pod Kit Perform?
My battery was fully charged straight out of the box – but best to give it a quick charge before vaping.
The draw is most definitely on the airier side of an MTL vape – so bang on what I prefer.
Harmony Tempo CBD Pod Kit – Flavour
Impressive is the only word I can use!
I’ve tried very many pod mods and pod kits, and this one really does hold onto the flavour that you get from coils.
I won’t bother mentioning the flavours I’ve already reviewed [see above] but trust me they really do ping off the palate from this little pod!
Saying that I have tried the pre-filled Harmony vape pen and the Moroccan Mint pod tastes just as good.
As to the other two:
Harmony Tempo CBD Pod Kit – Wild Strawberry
Just in time for summer and this is a strawberry lovers treat.
Perfectly balanced between sweet ‘n juicy with the refreshing hint of natural terpenes.
A real show stopper and I bloody love it!
Ideal for newcomers to vaping as it tones down those earthy notes from the cannabis plant.
Harmony Tempo CBD Pod Kit – Pink Lemonade
A really delicious aroma from the pod with a glorious mix of what I reckon is vanilla, cannabis and sweet fizz.
The inhale is absolutely gorgeous with just enough flavour to again mask the terpenes many new users don’t like.
There’s not quite a fizz to this – but I do get a real tickle on the back of my throat.
Very nice indeed and very moreish and refreshing.
Final Review Verdict
I thought the Harmony CBD vape pen was a great product to get regular and new users into vaping on CBD, but the pod kit has surpassed even that.
The flavour and vape experience is superb – other pod kit manufacturers would do well to take a look at Harmony’s coils and pods.
And nope I’m not being a fan-boy, I’m telling it like it is.
Great flavour – great choice of flavours – dead simple to use and competitively priced.
With all those boxes ticked, the pod is a great for established and new CBD vape juice users.

I have an harmony tempo but the pod can be refilled only 4 times and it gets pretty expensive.
Does the I.O pods fit the harmony tempo? How much refill can they take?

Yeh I spotted that – I have the IO and it was also branded as a Yosta Ypod Mini too previously – seems the design has been shared about.
Given I edited the IO preview you’d have thought I might have spotted it too…sadly and despite a big new monitor I’m old with failing eyesight and a brain the size of a pea…Jonny will be ‘punishing’ me later…hopefully 😛

Harmony have made a deal with Innokin to have it produced with their own branding! Good for them. I’ve always been a fan of Innokin

As you can see from the scores the Wild Strawberry edged it for me…
sorry, i meant which would be better between the innokin io and the harmony tempo? the innokin io and the pods for it are much cheaper so if they’re the same device would the io not be better value for money?
The Harmony Tempo pods are filled with CBD – whilst the IO are empty and can be filled with e-liquid – nic salts OR CBD 🙂
