The iJoy Limitless RDTA is a new rebuildable dripping tank atomiser, produced in conjunction between iJoy and Limitless.

It has a 4ml tank capacity, with a dripper style two post deck above the tank section, and also some of the largest airflow ever seen on a tank coupled with possibly the largest chuff cap ever seen on a tank too!ijoy limitless RDTA review

Build Quality and Design

The iJoy Limitless is constructed of stainless steel with a glass tank section, and it has a hybrid safe, gold plated 510 connection for use with hybrid mech mods, minimizing voltage drop and maximizing the performance.

The top cap is constructed of Delrin and is almost the same width as the whole top cap itself! Airflow is also part of the top cap and is adjusted via turning the top cap to close down and open up two massive airflow slots.ijoy limitless rdta review

The iJoy Limitless can be fully stripped down to clean, and this also then gives unrestricted access to the build deck as well, making it easier to build on by giving you more space to work with.ijoy limitless rdta parts

At the side, there is a side filling port which is easily opened and closed to fill the 4ml tank. Overall, it feels like a pretty robustly constructed tank, and very well made.

iJoy Limitless Build Deck

The iJoy Limitless features a two post build deck, and like a few other RDTAs to recently hit the market, you can fully strip the tank down to reveal the build deck.ijoy limitless rdta part

It offers a huge amount of space to build, with large post holes aimed at accommodating thick wires.

Wicking is very simple. There are wicking holes cut out of each the corner of build deck, and you simply need to make sure your wick goes through these and down to the base of the tank.ijoy limitless rdta deck

There are pre-made twisted coils included in the spares kit that you can simply install, wick and get going.ijoy limitless rdta clapton coils

I didn’t find the performance of these to be too great so I went with my own dual Clapton coil build which I found worked far better.

How Does the iJoy Limitless Perform?

Where this tank really excels, more so than the vast majority of other tanks out there, is at sheer vapor production and ridiculously sized clouds.

Forget running this under 50w, you’ll need to be putting a minimum of 50w through it to really see just how awesome this tank is at throwing out giant, thick clouds of vapor.ijoy-limitless-rdta-on-mod

Cloud chasers, this is definitely the tank for you!

Surprisingly, for such an airy tank, this is capable of some excellent flavor from your e juices.

I’d happily say it’s on par with a lot of dedicated cloud chasing RDAs, very impressive.iJoy Limitless RDTA On Vpae Box

I’ve been really happy with the performance when running my favorite vape juice through the iJoy Limitless, picking up on flavor notes I didn’t realise were there before.

It does have a 4ml tank capacity but given the amount of wick and power needed, this tank guzzles juice in no time at all.

It’s pretty much a dripper with an enlarged juice reservoir!

iJoy Limitless Airflow

Airflow on the iJoy Limitless could well be the biggest to date found on a tank.

There are two humongous cyclops airflow slots on the top cap, that are adjusted via rotating the chuff cap.ijoy limitless rdta tank

There is an incredible amount of airflow at your disposal here and this really is suited to people who cloud chase.

You need to be putting at least 50w through this to get the most out of it due to the sheer size of the airflow.

Be warned, due to the ridiculous size of the chuff cap, which spans almost the entire size of the top cap, this is an incredibly airy draw which some users may not be used to.

Once you are used to it, you’ll be producing some epic clouds!

What I Liked

The airflow is absolutely crazy on this thing and it doesn’t take much effort to produce competition level clouds. The airflow is really something to behold and it’s a lot of fun letting off some serious steam!

The airflow is large, but the flavor definitely doesn’t feel compromised. The iJoy Limitless is capable of providing some excellent flavor from your juices and I was really impressed with this.

The ability to strip the tank down to build and re-wick the iJoy Limitless makes both of those things very easy indeed. It’s forgiving and easy to build on and even inexperienced users will pick it up quickly.

Side filling is a great addition to this tank. It’s easy to fill and quick too, simply twist the fill port open at the side, fill, and close it off when done.

What I Didn’t Like

The supplied chuff cap spans almost the entire width of the chuff cap which means the draw is so airy, it’s pretty much like breathing! This may be uncomfortable for some users.

Thankfully a drip tip adapter is included if you wish to use a smaller bore drip tip.

This is strictly a dual coil tank only. There is no option here to build with a single coil.

It’s also a tank really aimed for those that like to vape at 50w and over only. I found that under this, the whole experience feels a little flat and underwhelming.

Final iJoy Limitless RDTA Review Verdict

The iJoy Limitless is a tank that can rightly lay claim to dripper level performance, in a rebuildable tank package.

The flavor and vapor are both bang on par with what you would come to expect from a rebuildable dripping atomizer, and with a tank capacity to boot that saves you having to re-drip constantly.

The airflow from this tank is really something to behold. If cloud chasing is your thing, you definitely need this tank in your life, there aren’t many other tanks out there that stand up to the phenomenal clouds this tank produces!

Pros

  • A cloud chasers dream. The airflow is absolutely huge!
  • Flavour and vapour on par with a stand alone rebuildable dripping atomiser
  • Absolutely huge airflow
  • Possibly the biggest vapour out of any tank to date
  • Very easy to build
  • Side filling works very well
  • Hybrid safe connection

Cons

  • Going to be a little too airy for some
  • No single coil option
  • Chuff cap is very wide which some users may find uncomfortable
  • Under wicking will result in excessive leaking
  • A little bit weak under 50w
  • Gets through juice in no time at all

Vaping full time since 2012, started on cigalikes for a while then curiosity got the better of me and I moved onto an vape pens, a month or two later I was seeing people walking around with these interesting shiny tubes and I thought 'I gotta get one of those'. Before I knew it a trip down to my local B&M got me my first VW mod, an Innokin SVD, paired with an iClear 30, and I was hooked. Soon after that I was jumping to VW mods both box and tube shaped, before I then made the jump to rebuilding and thus sub ohming, with my first RDA and mech mod. These days I've come back to convenience and mainly use pods, disposables and the VOOPOO Drag H40. Most importantly I am still loving vaping!
