The I.O Kit By Innokin Previewed
The Innokin I.O Kit is a new tiny little pod mod vape release from the Ladies and Gents over at Innokin.
I can’t hold it in – I have tried restraint – but it isn’t my strongest character trait – Yosta YPod Mini – is all I have to say.
Anyway – I digress. Back to business…
The kit comprises of two main components – the mod (which is where the battery lives) and the pod (basically the “tank”).
Looking at the mod side of things first – this is tiny, basically not much bigger than a cigarette. I have used the YPod Mini and it has pretty much the same dimensions and you could actually hold it in your mouth like a cigarette when vaping!
There is an internal 310mAh battery – but I am not sure if you get a battery life indicator or not?
The device is draw activated – meaning simply inhale and the airflow sensor will trigger the fire mechanism – so no complicated buttons or adjustments to get your head around.
Moving on to the pod which is where you add your own e-liquid and the heating element lives.
You can add up to 0.8ml of your own e-liquid via the refill plug on the base of the pod.
There are two types of pod available:
- Ceramic heating element – 1.4ohm
- Kanthal (wire) heating element – 1.4ohm KAL
You cannot change the coil – when the coil has expired you simply throw the pod away and buy another.
There are 5 colours to choose from – Stainless Steel, Blue, Black, Rainbow and Gunmetal.
- Not stated on website at present.
