Design & Build Quality
The JNR P4 Stellarc has a box-mod styled profile, with dimensions of 101mm x 25mm x 51.5mm.
Thanks to the design of the curved screen, which wraps around the edge of the device, this is a comfortable kit to have in the palm of your hand.
On the curved screen, there is a starlight styled design which lights up when you take a puff and looks quite pretty!
This also displays the remaining battery life as a percentage, making it easy to check at a glance.
To complete the kit, you need to assemble the pod and refill container before using, and these snap together without any fuss.
Once you have assembled the pod and refill container, this connects to the side of the P4 Stellarc device magnetically.
A nice touch is that you can see exactly how much e-liquid remains in the pod, thanks to the transparent design of the pod. You’ll always know when it is time to refill then, avoiding nasty dry hits!
Quick Start Guide
Two prefilled pods and refill containers are included in the kit, so to get started all you need to do is remove the stickers and silicone plugs from the pod and refill container, push them together, then as you get two different flavours in each kit- decide which one you want to vape!
One thing I will say though is that when assembling the pod and refill container, do take care to ensure that the magnets are facing in the correct direction.
My wife accidentally assembled one with the magnet on the mouthpiece facing the wrong way, and it was nigh on impossible to remove it afterwards!
By having two different flavoured pods and refill containers in the kit, you can switch between two flavours easily.
Plus, once you have finished the included pods, you are able to refill them- and you even get 40ml worth of e-liquid included!
How to Refill the Pod
Once you’ve vaped through the prefilled pod and refill container, you can refill it with the included e-liquid (or other e-liquid if you prefer!).
A large silicon filling port cover is located on the side of the pod, simply open this and fill through the exposed filling port hole, taking care not to overfill the pod.
With a couple of the pods, there was a fair amount of gurgling present after I refilled them, which suggests the e-liquid had flooded the coil. To remedy this, I had to blow through the mouthpiece to clear it.
Charging
A USB-C charging port is located on the base of the P4 Stellarc battery. You don’t get a charging cable included with the kit, so you will need to use one you already own or purchase a separate one.
Thankfully, USB-C charging cables are pretty ubiquitous these days so most people have a spare lying around the place!
To charge, connect a USB-C charging cable to the device and make sure to utilize a suitable power source. The charging status is displayed as a percentage on the device, and once it is full remove it from charging.
Flavours
For the P4 Stellarc range, JNR have developed 19 different flavours across ten different kits. Each kit has two different flavours, with the exception of Watermelon Ice which just features Watermelon Ice across both pods, refill containers and e-liquid bottles.
JNR sent me all ten kits to review, and as no manufacturer descriptions were available for the flavours you’ll just have to go off of what I thought of them!
Mixed Berries/ Mr Blue
The Mixed Berries delivers a sugary-sweet punch right from the start, a rich medley of blackberry and raspberry with a hint of blueberry. A significant amount of sweetener is noticeable, leaving a thick, sugary film across my palate with every inhale.
For Mr Blue, a bold blueberry note takes the lead, supported by subtle raspberry undertones. The experience concludes with a crisp, refreshing menthol chill on the finish.
Watermelon Ice
This particular kit is unique because it focuses on a single flavour. If you’re a fan of watermelon, you’re in for a treat, as the kit comes packed with 64ml of it.
Now, for those who follow my reviews, it’s no secret that I’m not usually a fan of watermelon vapes.
However, this JNR version is a candied take on the fruit, loaded with sweetener that gives it a distinct “watermelon candy” feel. The finish is also impressive, delivering a robust and well-executed chill.
Peach Mango Pineapple/ Watermelon Mango Peach
This blend of peach, mango, and pineapple is a winner. The peach and mango hit first, bursting with a juicy sweetness. That’s followed by a pop of sour pineapple that perfectly rounds out the blend.
In contrast, the Watermelon Mango Peach swaps out the pineapple for watermelon. The experience starts with a familiar mix of peach and mango before a subtle watermelon note and a light chill arrive to finish things off.
Blue Razz Cherry/ Blueberry Raspberry Cherry
I’m a big fan of blueberry e-liquids, and Blue Razz Cherry is a solid place to start. The blueberry and raspberry notes are perfectly complemented by a thick, syrupy cherry flavour and a nice little bit of effervescence.
Honestly, I couldn’t tell much of a difference with the Blueberry Raspberry Cherry flavour. The main thing I noticed was a lack of the fizz, but other than that, it tasted incredibly similar to the Blue Razz Cherry.
Blueberry Red Raspberry/ Blueberry Pomegranate Ice
Blueberry Red Raspberry is a classic combination of its namesake berries. It’s a sweet, classic berry flavour balanced by the tartness of the raspberry.
Then there’s Blueberry Pomegranate Ice, which pairs the sweet blueberry with a sharp, tangy pomegranate. The whole experience is finished with a strong, icy blast from the menthol present in the blend.
Fizzy Cherry Cola/ Lemon Lime
I’m a big fan of a good cherry cola e-liquid, and this one really delivered.
The cherry and cola flavours are perfectly balanced, with a strong, icy finish that brings it all together. While the chill does overpower the fizziness a bit, I’m a huge fan of a strong cooling sensation, so this was perfect for me.
The Lemon Lime is also well-executed. It has a great sharp citrus tang that runs through the whole vape. I absolutely loved the sourness of this one—it’s incredibly refreshing.
Strawberry Ice/ Strawberry Watermelon Ice
JNR deserves credit for this one. The Strawberry Ice is a fantastic blend, easily one of the best I’ve tasted. It delivers a rush of candied strawberry flavour, plenty of sweetness, and a strong, icy finish.
The Strawberry Watermelon Ice version throws some watermelon into the mix. The watermelon is more of a background note, but it actually works well, adding a complementary layer to the refreshing strawberry ice profile.
Black Dragon Ice/ Passion Fruit Kiwi
With Black Dragon Ice, I got a mix of blackberry and dragonfruit here, which was a unique flavour combination that worked really well.
The fruits balanced each other out perfectly. The menthol finish is a solid touch and, just like the other “ice” blends in this series, it provides a strong chill.
The Passion Fruit Kiwi was a bit underwhelming by comparison. The sweetener was more prominent than the actual fruit flavours.
Strawberry Kiwi/ Peach Berry
Strawberry Kiwi starts with a lot of strawberry flavour. It’s almost thick and candy-like in its sweetness. The kiwi plays a supporting role, adding a hint of tartness.
Peach Berry is a sweet blend of juicy peach and tart raspberry. I particularly liked how the sourness of the raspberry cuts through the sweetness.
This strawberry kiwi/ peach berry combination was a favourite of my wife, who loves a sweet vape!
Summer Peach Ice/ Green Apple Peach
Summer Peach Ice absolutely explodes with a powerful, ripe peach flavour that’s surprisingly intense! A rush of menthol then sweeps in, refreshing the palate perfectly for the next hit.
Green Apple Peach offers a nice balance between crisp green apple and juicy peach, with the apple flavour coming through a bit more strongly. It’s finished with a hint of koolada for a clean, refreshing exhale.
How Does The JNR P4 Stellarc Perform?
P4 Stellarc pods feature a 1.2ohm dual mesh coil setup, with revolutionary heating technology designed to deliver smooth vapour that is full of flavour.
They have a fixed power output, and there are a couple of airflow options that can be adjusted by the switch on the base of the refill container.
One option exposes two airflow holes for a tighter mouth to lung vape, and the other has three airflow slots for a slightly looser draw, though this is still definitely in the mouth to lung realm!
I found that the vapour delivery was very smooth with both airflow options, and a satisfying nicotine hit is provided from the 20mg strength e-liquid. Some pretty impressive vapour is produced too!
Battery Life
Even though there is a 1200mAh battery built into the device, the battery life itself wasn’t the best.
I am a pretty heavy vaper, and I could drain one of these kits in about six hours, meaning that I would need to take two of them with me if I was going to be out and about for an extended period of time!
The battery display does make it easy to see exactly how much battery life remains, and the device does charge back up to full quite quickly too.
How Many Puffs Can You Get From A JNR P4 Stellarc Pod?
According to the manufacturer’s description, these kits can deliver up to 100,000 puffs. That’s a truly phenomenal amount of vaping, if you can believe it!
It seems to me that JNR must be talking about the reusable battery, which you can use over and over with new pods and refills. It’s unlikely you’d get 100,000 puffs from just 64ml of e-liquid.
I managed to get 7,464 puffs out of one pod on the P4 Stellarc kit before it developed a burnt taste. At that point, I had to swap it out for the second pod.
Pros

- Lots of puffs from each kit
- A couple of different airflow options available
Cons
- If you accidentally assemble the pod and refill kit incorrectly, it can be very hard to reassemble it!
- Some coil flooding after refilling the pod
- Battery life isn’t the greatest
Final Verdict
The P4 Stellarc concept is impressive! Each kit provides a significant amount of vaping right from the start, including two pre-filled pods, refill containers, and four 10ml bottles of e-liquid.
With the exception of the Watermelon Ice kit, each package contains two distinct flavours, offering variety and the convenience of switching profiles on demand, and you have the ability to re-use the device thanks to the rechargeable battery and refillable pods, making this a sustainable option for vaping.
Plus, pods and refill containers can be purchased separately, meaning you can continue to re-use the P4 Stellarc battery for a pretty long time!
Finally, these kits perform really well too, with a vape that has been tailored for satisfaction and some very tasty flavours on offer as part of the range.
