Their Switch range has become very popular within the North American market and in this review we will be looking at the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 disposable range.

What Can We Expect From The Mr Fog Switch SW15000 Disposable Vapes?
The Mr Fog Switch SW15000 is a range of disposables which you can use right out of the box, no set-up needed!
Now these aren’t your average disposable vapes, they have a few extra features built into them. First up, there is a smart screen, which displays real time information on the wattage setting, e-liquid consumption and battery level.
You can switch between two wattage settings, 10W for “eco” mode and 20W for “boost” mode. So you can have the option of extending battery life (eco) or sacrificing battery life for stronger flavour and a bigger nicotine hit (boost)!
Not only is the wattage adjustable, but so is the airflow – via an airflow adjustment dial. Giving the option of Restricted Direct to Lung (RDL) inhales or Mouth To Lung (MTL) vaping. We tell you what these terms mean in our Guide To Vape Styles.
A 650mAh battery is built into the device, which can be recharged using a USB-C cable.
You get 12ml of e-liquid included in each one, which Mr Fog say can last up to 15000 puffs! These come in a 50mg nicotine salt strength, great for satisfying those nicotine cravings and a dual coil system is used.
16 different flavours are available in the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 range and today we will be looking at a selection of eight of these, handpicked by the Mr Fog team.
I checked on their website, but no flavour descriptions are given for these disposables. So I’ll be going off my own experiences from the flavours in this review.

Design & Build Quality
Each of the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 disposables comes with a different colour scheme depending on which flavour you have selected. These fit in the palm of my hand quite nicely and don’t feel too weighty either!
At the top, they have a TPU material food-grade mouthpiece that is actually quite firm, with a decent sized bore.
Similar ones that I have used have been a bit squishy, but not so here!
On the front of the device is the smart screen, which displays the current power setting, battery level and how much e-liquid you have got left to use. This is very bright and easy to read and lights up when you take a puff on the device or press the mode button.
Next to the smart screen is an airflow adjustment dial, which is very smooth to use.
On the side you have the mode adjustment button and the USB-C charging port.
These do look pretty smart for a disposable vape and feel robustly made too!
Quick Start Guide
No need to press a power button to fire one of these, they have an auto draw function so simply pop one out of the box and take a puff on it to get it going!
‘Switch’ in the product name comes from the ability to switch between two modes.
- 10W eco mode, to make the battery last longer
- 20W boost mode to enhance the flavour and provide a more powerful vaping experience at the cost of battery life.
Simply press the mode button on the side of the device to switch between the two settings. Pressing the mode button three times activates the child lock function – which essentially just turns the device on and off.
The airflow can be adjusted using the dial located next to the smart screen, giving you the option of mouth to lung or restricted direct lung vaping.
To recharge the device, pop a USB-C charging cable into the port at the side. You’ll need to use one of your own as these disposables are not supplied with one.
Peach Lychee Ice
Starting off using the 10W mode, I get a tasty combination of Peach and Lychee and a nice cooling effect to round it all off. Both flavours taste authentic to me and combine really well with each other.
Using the 20W boost mode, the Lychee flavour note becomes even more noticeable and stronger tasting, almost completely overpowering the Peach flavour. I found that the 10W setting gave much more balance to this vape.
I do love the combination of Peach and Lychee with this one, it is an exotic combination and the mix has been really well done.
Grape Pomegranate Ice
Normally I’m not a huge fan of artificial Grape flavours but the flavouring here was actually quite pleasant to vape away on. The cooling sensation cuts away at the artificial taste. It is pretty damn sweet though!
I will say that I couldn’t really detect any Pomegranate flavour at either the 10W or 20W setting, this tasted like a straight up Grape with ice. Increasing the power setting just amplified the Grape flavouring further for me.
I wouldn’t say this one has won me over but it was definitely tolerable for me and it was one that my Grape-loving wife definitely enjoyed!
Strawberry Berry
So this one is a Strawberry and mixed Berry combination, though in terms of berries the only berry flavour I could really detect was a flavour note of Raspberry. And this is rounded off with an icy nip at the end of it.
Increasing from 10W to 20W just amplifies these flavours further, it didn’t bring out any more of the berries that I could detect.
Still, a really enjoyable sweet vape that could easily be an all day fruity vape for me.
Strawberry Apricot Ice
I had high hopes for Strawberry Apricot Ice as Strawberries and Apricots are two of my favourite fruit flavours.
Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with the overall experience. The flavours tasted a little washed out and muted to me at both the 10W and 20W power settings. There’s hints of something really good here, but the mix isn’t quite there for me.
Also, I had an issue with this one where it developed a burnt taste after three days causing me to dispose of it.
White Peach Slushy
Quite a nice authentic tasting Peach flavour on the inhale here, it is nice and sweet and pleasing to my tastebuds.
A good level of sweetener is found here too, which coats my palate!
This is followed up with a cooling sensation to give the sensation of a Slushy, but not an overpowering cooling sensation thankfully!
This became one of my go to flavours from this range, a smooth and easy going vape with a pleasant cooling sensation.
Classic Mint Ice
A robust, strong menthol blast that really refreshes you and works as an excellent palate cleanser. There’s a bunch of flavour here and a very satisfying cooling hit to boot.
Top tip – turn the power setting to 20W and get a face-melting hit of menthol along with a 50mg wallop of nicotine, that will really shake up your senses!
Peach Blue Razz Mango Ice
Peach Blue Razz Mango Ice, is bit of a mouthful eh? It’s a mouthful of flavour too, but almost like there is a little bit too much going on here.
It feels like all the flavour notes are jostling for position, at times making it hard to discern an individual one.
They all seem to mesh together into a very sweet vape, followed up with the icy cooling sensation to finish it off.
It’s not a bad vape by any stretch, especially if you like a very sweet flavour profile, it is just a bit too much for my palate.
How Do The Mr Fog Switch SW15000 Disposable Vapes Perform?
A choice of two power options is present here. The 10W eco mode provides a lesser powered vape, in order to prolong battery life. The flavour is still good at this setting and there’s still a satisfying nicotine hit.
Using the 20W boost mode setting definitely amplifies the flavour and provides a considerably stronger nicotine hit!
I found I couldn’t handle vaping 50mg nicotine salt at 20W for too long though, so my preferred setting was the 10W one.
The airflow is adjustable via a circular dial on the front of the device and it is very easy to fine tune the airflow with this system. Turn it right down and I get a very tight mouth to lung draw, opening it right up gives me a restricted direct lung hit.
My personal preference was to have it set just over halfway open, as I felt that quite a bit of the flavour was lost when it was fully open.
The 650mAh battery is sufficient to power the device all day long with either the 10W or 20W setting. Considering these pack a 50mg nicotine salt punch I don’t vape on it as often as I usually would! So quite often one of these will last me well into a second day before I need to charge it back up! And they do recharge pretty quickly via USB-C.
Puff Count
As per my Horizon Tech Micco N16000 review, I counted the puffs by measuring how many I had before the first bar on the e-liquid level turned off, then multiplied it by three.
With any disposable vape, some pretty large claims are made by the manufacturer around how many puffs you’ll get. Your mileage will vary depending on variables such as the power setting used and how long you inhale for.
And with the Mr Fog Switch SW15000, this is no different. Using a combination of the 10W eco mode and 20W boost mode, I counted 3,364 puffs before the first light blinked off. Multiply that by three and it gives a total of 10,092 puffs. Some way off the reported 15,000 puffs, but that is also still a lot of vaping!
I’ve been in possession of the Mr Fog Switch range for a little while now and it’s taken a good couple of weeks to get through a single one of these. The 50mg nicotine strength coupled with the 12ml capacity means these do last a while.
I did have an issue with the Strawberry Apricot Ice and Peach Lychee Ice which developed a burnt taste after three and five days respectively.
Finally, one aspect to note is that there’s quite a large waste footprint with these devices as no part of it is reusable. Once it has reached the end of its life you dispose of the entire unit, making for lots of waste unless you have a vape recycling scheme near to you.

Final Verdict
I quite like the fact you can switch between two power settings and adjust the airflow to your own liking. However it would have been good to have the ability to fine tune the wattage a little further, like with the Horizon Tech Micco N16000 for example.
I would have liked the ability to vape one of these around the 15W mark, which would have been a real sweet spot for me. At times I felt the 10W was a little on the weak side and 20W was definitely too much.
But these are disposables after all and most others don’t even come with the ability to adjust the airflow let alone the wattage!
On the whole, the flavours I got to try from this range were decent and didn’t taste too over-flavoured to me. They are pretty much what you would expect to get from a disposable vape these days.
Lifespan on these is excellent for the most part and the price-point means you are definitely getting a lot of bang for your buck here.
