The OneVape Lambo 2 Pod System is a tiny well put together pocket/purse friendly little pod kit.
A few months ago we reviewed a little pod system from Onevape called the Lambo! Today we have the second incarnation of the kit.
OneVape are based in Los Angeles and Shenzhen China, they have dual head quarters enabling them to design and manufacture their products.
To be frank, apart from the first version of this little pod system, I have no experience with OneVape at all! As I explained in the review for the Lambo, they have very few products listed on their website and those they do are all pod systems, which include the Nano Series as well as the Lambo Series.
What Can We Expect From the Lambo 2 from OneVape?
Inherited from OneVape Lambo, the OneVape Lambo 2 is a revolutionary smart pod system that comes with two different pod types.
The power range for the Lambo 2 vapes between 7 and 12W, the body of the device hasn’t gone through any major sort of changes, the biggest change would be with the pods. One with 1.6ohm cotton coil and the other with 1.0ohm ceramic coil for CBD vape oil. BTW the pods are backward compatible to the Lambo but the pods for the original will not work in the Lambo 2.
The device comes in 8 designs. I was supplied with the Goddess Purple Resin design.
So what do we think, has much really changed with the updated version? Let’s go and take an up close look………………………….

Design and Build Quality
The Kit come presented nicely in a card box with an over sleeve, with the device wrapped in a dust jacket.
Lambo 2 Mod
Measuring in at 68mm by 45 mm with a thickness of just 15mm, the body of the device is made of a zinc alloy with a resin strip to each side.
The Lambo pod system consists of two parts the stainless steel body and a plastic refillable 2ml pod.
The device has a 360 mAh in built battery that does last quite well as a mouth to lung device. The device has a lanyard loop so it can be worn around the neck if that’s your thing!
Below the lanyard loop you have a micro USB charge port.
The base of the device has the normal and relevant information. 
With “LAMBO” branding on one side.
The reverse side features the word “ONE” that lights as you vape the device.
Again like the original the shape of the Lambo 2 reminds me of an off centre octagon!
The complete kit is very light at 65g without liquid.
Lambo 2 Pods
The kit comes with 2 plastic bottom fill pods! 1 pre installed and 1 in the box, a 1.6Ω with cotton and a 1.0Ω that is ceramic.
The Lambo 2 is smart enough to recognise the type of coil in your pod and adjusts the wattage to suit the coil. The Lambo pods have a unique airflow system that is of a split design inside the pods, apparently it is more effective at keeping the liquid from being fried.
The device is automatic which basically means there are no buttons to press, simply take a draw to activate.
The Lambo 2 is small and light and compact, the kit is well designed with a good quality in the hand.
How Does OneVape Lambo 2 Kit Perform?
For this example I will be using both pods, the 1.0Ω pod with the ceramic coil filled with CBD Mango 300mg by Pinnacle, and the 1.6Ω pod I will be using orange and mango chill by Double Drip.
Basic Quick Start Guide
Filling the Pods
- Choose which of the 2 pod you want to use.
- Turn the pod upside down and remove the plastic bung to reveal the fill port.
- Fill the pod with liquid and re plug the bung.
- Replace in the Lambo 2
Leave the device alone for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the pod to soak the liquid. Failure to do this could result in dry hits that will ruin your coil.

Make sure the battery is charged before use!
The device has multi colour light display that shows your battery level:
- Dark blue = fully charged
- Light blue = low power
- Red when charging

The mod includes 6 protections these include:-

1.0Ω and 1.6Ω pods
When fully charged and using the ceramic coil pod the device will output 14w. The draw, while a little tight for me, produces a warmish vape with the expected MTL vapour production, the flavour for me with the peach CBD was very good.
When I tried the 1.6Ω pod, which again with a fully charged mod, you will get 9W. This pod, they say, is best with salt nic liquids. The vapour quality and flavour were quite good again the draw was on the tight side but you expect that with a MTL draw.
With both pods I was able to get a semi, very restricted, Direct to Lung (DTL) draw.
Battery Life
The 360 mAh internal battery is designed so that from a full charge you will get 270 puffs, being honest I did not count the puffs from fully charged, who’s got time for that! LOL.
However, the battery did last a complete day using a Mouth to Lung (MTL) style of vape!. Like the original the battery is long lasting.

Final Review Verdict
Like the Original Lambo I’m having a hard job trying to nail down anything I don’t really like about this kit.
When you get down to it the battery is more or less the same as the first version, with an added bonus that the Lambo 2 will recognize the difference in the pods and adjust accordingly.
The real big difference comes with the pods while the 1.6Ω is the same style and ohms as supplied with the original kit, OneVape have included a 1.0Ω ceramic coil pod which, without sounding to gushy, really does enhance the flavour of the CBD flavoured liquid.
Now would I personally buy the VapeOne Lambo 2 should this one be lost or destroyed?
Here’s the kicker for me – I will use the kit for CBD but other than that no I can’t see me replacing!
