Today I’m taking a look at the TEN TEN e-liquid range.
The guys behind this brand new range of e-liquids hail from Bolton in the UK. They’ve been avid vapers since 2012 and during this time, made an observation.
That observation was that 99% of e-liquid manufacturers simply weren’t delivering the goods in terms of quality or pricing.
In 2018 and armed with their mantra of ‘no compromise’ they began work on an e-liquid range of their own. A range meeting all TPD and MHRA requirements and created to knock spots off the competition.
I’ll be the judge of that today.
What Can We Expect From the TEN TEN E-liquid Range?
I’m expecting something quite special since this is their first release after four years of pain staking development.
So TEN TEN are new to the e-liquid scene. Having read the ‘about’ section on their web site I’m undecided as to whether the team are 100% confident in their boasts or just plain arrogant in their beliefs.
After all. One sentence seems to throw a lot of manufacturers into the shade!
The TEN TEN range is comprised of ten fruity flavours ranging from mixed Berries to Mango. Expect a few ice cold chills along the way too.
It’s good that they’re catering to the full spectrum of vapers. They come as 100ml in 120ml chubby Gorilla bottles which leaves enough space for two 10ml nicotine shots.
One nicotine shot will give a nicotine strength of 1.5mg while two doubles it.
The juice ratio with the short fills is 70VG/30PG so suitable for medium powered vaping devices such as pods and tank kits. Add high VG nic shots if you intend to use these with an RDA (rebuildable dripping atomiser).
TEN TEN have also released the range in 10ml TPD compliant bottles with 20mg salt nicotine already included.
With a juice ratio of 50VG/50PG they’re perfect for use in starter kits and lower powered pod vape kits.
Packaging and Labelling
I know TEN TEN are more focussed on the quality of their E-liquid but the packaging and labelling deserves a mention.
It’s very good. The labels are rolled on straight and even and with no air bubbles or creases. The overall design is one of maturity. For me that represents a refreshing change.
Nicotine strengths, juice ratios, batch numbers, expiry dates and ingredients are all clearly displayed. You’re also left with no doubt as to the flavour in the bottle.
Further safety precautions can be observed by peeling away the outer labelling on the 10ml bottles.
I’m particularly impressed by the nicotine shot mixing guide printed on the side of the short fill bottles. Impressed because I haven’t seen this before. I’m a stickler for minor detailing/ improvements like this – other manufacturers may want to take note.
Labelling of distinction. That won’t be enough for TEN TEN but it’s a good start!
The only thing that bugs me is the brand name of all things. TEN TEN actually reads as TENTEN on the bottles suggesting one word.
Maybe I’m just knit picking. I’m good at that! lol

Ok. So the moment of truth. What’s the range of flavours like to vape? How’s the vapour production? Are they worth a TEN out of TEN?
For the short fill range I’m using the YIHI SX Mini SL Class V2 with the Dead Rabbit V2 RDA. I’ve installed a single quad core fused Clapton coil ohming in at 0.28 and vaped at 45W.
I’m using the Vaporesso XROS 3 Pod kit with the 1.0ohm MTL mesh coil to test the 50VG/50PG salt nicotine 10ml bottles.

Blackcurrant Aniseed

I Say:
The vapour production is phenomenal considering I’m using a single coil. I’ve mentioned it first because it kind of took me by surprise!
The Aniseed is very clean and clearly defined from the get go. It cuts straight in on the inhale to produce a strong, icy blast against the back of the throat.
What I like about this one is that the Aniseed combines perfectly with the Blackcurrant, which thankfully isn’t too sweet. It’s a very refreshing vape.
The fruit is punchy, bright and lively. Just as it should be. It never skips a beat throughout the duration of the vape. So it’s very consistent – again, as it should be.
In fact, I’m super impressed by this pairing. Ok, I’ve experienced similar versions in the past but I think TEN TEN have raised the bar on the Aniseed in particular.
There’s always something magical about dual flavour creations when they fuse as successfully as this. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve experienced such an effective simplicity.
Blackcurrant Aniseed takes me back to a time when I was hyper critical over e-liquid flavours.
Trouble is, there’s nothing to find fault with here!
Blue Raspberry

I Say:
Just as the flavour description promises, this is definitely a ‘juicy Lucy’ taste experience.
Again, I don’t think it’s been overloaded with sweetener and what there is plays very well into the hands of the syrupy, candy like exhale.
Seasoned vapers will be more than familiar with Blue Raspberry’s taste. It’s a tried and tested formula used with candy and soft drink vapes. So it scores low in terms of originality.
Because the Raspberry content is more sweetie orientated, the icy cold blast of the inhale makes little attempt to recreate a classic blue slushy drink. It’s also less of a stinger – more of a linger.
Whether it’s unoriginal or lacking the refreshing properties of a drink profile, Blue Raspberry still impresses on a consistent level.
Every vape delivers a decent flavour experience from inhale to the final exhale. I can tell there’s been no skimping on the concentrate used – that’s always pleasing.
So the scoring for this one is based on flavour quality, intensity, consistency and vapour production.
Grape Mixed With Berries

I Say:
There’s a refreshing dose of Coolada in this one. It doesn’t rip the throat apart but leaves an icy cold layer on the lips instead.
A realistic rendition of Grape? Could it be? Certainly seems to be the case here. I will say it’s quite subtle though. That’s due to being mixed in with a few other fruits.
On the initial inhale there’s a raft of bitter sweetness which swiftly subsides, making way for a few Blackberry back notes. They stimulate the taste buds before a juicy Raspberry joins the party.
All leading to a fruity flavour fusion that’s consistent in its ability to taste both natural and thirst quenching.
So when taking these three stand out flavours into account, I’m left with a vape that not only has depth but originality by the vape load. The word ‘original’ doesn’t often feature in my vaping dictionary these days so fair play to TEN TEN.
Grape Mixed With Berries is bursting with flavour, has a degree of complexity and a Grape that.. well. Tastes like Grape!
Who Knew?
Mango

I Say:
Wow! That’s a refreshingly cool Summer vape in a 10ml bottle if ever.. This being the first one tested in a much lower powered device I was wondering how the flavour would translate.
I need not have worried my tiny brain! The icy cool inhale is obviously less intense with such wattage restriction but effective nonetheless. It leaves a little tickle on the lips.
But that flavour! It’s phenomenal. The Mango tastes natural, fresh and in this set up at least, even slightly creamy on the way out.
The sweetness to the vape builds on the inhale, concentrates around the rear of the throat then is fully unleashed during the exhale.
And it’s not mega sweet – not sickly. It combines and balances superbly with this luscious version of Mango. TEN TEN have proved that even the simplest of flavour profiles can still be the best and grab attention.
Oh! and there’s more. Despite being a thinner juice ratio the vapour production is fab.
Don’t ask me how they’ve done it but TEN TEN have created a highly inspiring E-liquid with Mango.

Mixed Berry

I Say:
The fruits inside Mixed Berry are all rich tasting. Blackcurrant, Raspberry and Strawberries seem to be the order of the day in my vaping experience.
Blackcurrant is the dominant fruit while the other two are more subtle in their appearance during exhale. This is a very tasty and mouth watering vape with plenty of nuanced back notes to keep the vape bright, punchy and lively.
It’s very similar to a bowl of mixed berries in the way they react to each other. Usually this kind of blending leads to an artificial, synthetic flavour but TEN TEN have been canny here!
By enduring that one fruit stands out, the others seem to mix better.
Again, the sweetness level is pitch perfect and the cooling agent simply complements what is already a highly appealing vape. Vapour production is also extremely satisfying.
I have to say it. A 10/10 for TEN TEN with Mixed Berry. Awesome job!
Red Berry Ice

I Say:
I get a very pleasant cooling effect from the inhale. It’s a combination of Menthol and Eucalyptus predominantly and laced with a subtle take on Aniseed.
It’s a relatively new vape experience to me and one I find highly effective because of the resulting taste. I find it highly appealing and quite unique.
Grape isn’t high on the list for me. Other fruits are more prevalent with Blackcurrant and Strawberry being much more focused on the exhale.
They’re given away by the level of sweetness. It’s quite high in Red Berry Ice but that doesn’t mean the vape is sickly in any way.
In terms of flavour balancing I’d say that the Eucalyptus and menthol content do override the Summer fruits. So that’s maybe something to take into account if you’re toying with the idea of partaking.
It’s a cooling vape for the hot season and one that will work well as a palate cleanser.
Final Review Verdict
Although flavour is more important I was impressed by the vapour production when testing the short fill range. They may have been a 70VG/30PG ratio but it felt nearer to high VG in terms of output.
As for flavour. What can I say? They’re all fantastic. Consistent, well defined with a well balanced combination of concentrates. Something I favour. There’s nothing ‘wishy – washy’ about them.
Each one delivers one helluva flavour punch.
But I think the 50/50 range edges it for me because there was no loss in flavour, whatever the airflow restriction.
The e-liquids were free of artificial colouring and I never noticed any caramelisation of the coil on the RDA during the time spent testing them.
Admittedly the flavour profiles aren’t particularly original but there’s certainly no doubting the overall quality. I was never disappointed and the Coolada/Menthol pairing was always of a comfortable, acceptable level.
So the burning question is, have TEN TEN lived up to their promise of no compromise?
Heck, yeah – and then some. The finest range of E-liquids I’ve sampled for a very long time!
